While I think he's blue with darker blue hair, MLP Wiki says he's purple with a mix of blue and turquoise! Can you show me pics to prove it? i think I'm colour blind...

I rushed to my bedroom... to me, there are definitely two tones to his hair, and that's even looking at him in my darkened room with no lights. There are streaks of a lighter blue hair mixed in with the dark blue that dominates his mane.

Found my pic: the flash on the old camera I used kind of washed out the color, but you can see the lighter streaks.

yes, he indeed has turquoise strands of hair (that kind of match his symbol) mixed in. well, at least his original version does.

but regarding his body colour, I remember being a little surprised myself when he was described a purple. he always looked blue to me as well...

Yeah, he looks mostly blue. Maybe sort of indigo, bluish purplish? But if someone told me to use a simple color to describe him, I'd say blue.

Yup - he is an interesting (and pretty cool and unusual) combo in hair colour. You dont tend to come across too many ponies whose hair colours dont distinctly contrast rather than subtly blend. Just makes him a little bit more special.

I always called him purple... but I'm weird with colours apparently.

I most certainly see him as purple too :/ Bluish purple, but I think he looks more more purple than he does blue.

I also think there is purple in his hair, mixed alongside the turquoise (and maybe some other shade of blue?) Mine has a hunk of solid colour in his tail that looks very purple to me

I'd call him a dull indigo. But whatever he is, he's a very pretty pony.

He looks like a purple with a kind of blue tone, the older he gets looks kind of like a dusty purple
