Different versions of G1 Spike?

Could someone post a comparison pic with the original Dream Castle Spike, the lavender Dream Castle Spike, and Mail Order Spike?  I know there is a color difference between the Dream Castle versions, but it would be great to see photos.  Thanks!

I can only ever notice the difference when they are side by side! Although they are so different in shade its tough when you have only the one to make a decision.

Yes, that is my problem exactly.  I'm looking for lavender castle Spike, but I can't ever tell from ebay auction photos which one it is.  Does anyone have a lavender castle Spike for sale?

It took me ages for the exact same reason I went through about 3 "bright" Spikes before I finally managed to grab him!

The lavender dream castle version is difficult to tell when he is by himself. You almost need the regular version to compare to

I have two Spikes that I plan on putting in my sales and they are very different in color.  However, as far as I can tell it's just because one has faded/yellowed since the brighter one matches my original Spike.  I'll have to take a comparison shot of them.

Ummmmm....I might have just had a random moment...but has anyone else noticed their eyes are different?

Pink Dream Castle Spike has dots of green eyes and Lavender Dream Castle Spike has crescent green eyes...I have never noticed this before!

You might be on to something but you need to reverse it - it's the pink castle version with the crescent eyes in the pic.  That actually matches what I have.  Here's the comparison photo.  The one on the far right is my orginal; so, it's definitley the pink castle version.  Both the other two also have crescent eyes and the middle one is very close in color to my original; so, I'm fairly certain the one on the left is just faded (or just a different batch).

I ll dig mine out later to check and see if mine have the same eye difference or if its just a printing issue on the one Ivy has pictured.

It will definitely be interesting to see what you find.   To my knowledge, I've never had a Lavender castle one pass through my hands and it's so hard to tell color differences just through pics.

I have my childhood G1 Spike from the pink Dream Castle plus the Lavendar Dream castle and they both have crescent shaped green in their eyes so I don't think that's how you can tell the difference. But side by side I can see how different they are by color.
