Of course Sniffles is a boy, at least in my heard he was/is!   (Snookums' gender switched a few times but mostly she was a girl ).


So G1 ponies reproduce through drawings and Majesty's magic mirror. They seem to have several options if they want to have kids.

I love it when toys are drawn like the actual plastic figures. Like the stroller and bassinet here.

I must admit, I was a little surprised by how casual the ponies were about flying numbers suddenly swarming around Lucky.   "Oh, it must be your lucky number!"  I think my reaction would be more like, "Oh, I should run far, far away!"

(BTW, I too would have been worried about the numbers flying around but I guess it's not the strangest thing to ever happen in Ponyland so it's all cool.    )

I thought there was a book where a baby pony came to Ponyland through a mirror once, maybe after being wished for or something? This is a vague memory...
