I need to redo my pony room, which gives me the opportunity to paint a new color. Im not sure if I should go simple, or bold? Clean or colorful? What do you think?

I voted for white. That way, the focus is on all the colorful ponies, and they will stand out :)

I voted for pastel green. Very few ponies would appear to be the same color as the background that way.

I painted mine pastel green with the general idea that it would evoke images of the ponies frolicking in a green meadow or pasture.

I voted other. Lavender or lilac with white or green trim.

I painted mine white. It's pretty much completely covered in white shelves so it probably doesn't matter. Ha.

I love pastels, but for me, if I made a pony room, painting it a colour would probably make me feel like it was a bit cluttered and smaller. I would consider doing one wall in a different colour though! perhaps one with less shelves on.

I voted light blue. There are so many lovely hues of lighter white with whatever color mixed in available. How cool would it be to have one wall painted with a landscape, as a focal point, but then leaving other walls plain for shelves, etc...

I voted for pastel green, too. It's not used as much, and fewer ponies are that color. A mural would be a great option too if you're artistically inclined or have a friend who is. White is practical so the ponies pop though too. Especially, if the walls will basically be covered by shelves anyway. Pink to me is just too much when many ponies are pink. Unless, maybe a very light pink or half walls pink (to a chair rail height perhaps). Oohh, light yellow would make the ponies pop too, I think! Not that that was on your list of options though...lol.

If it is a wall that the ponies are on go with a neutral.
Add color to an accent wall or even the trim. ^.^ Something rich in color.

That was my thought process, except the ponies themselves are on white bookcases. So I was thinking light blue on the wall above might = sky? I also considered painting the bookcases the green. Such important choices! lol

My ponies live on white shelves as well, but it's one of those slanted ceiling rooms so the bookcases are only about 4" high on one wall. The tallest wall is full of clear acrylic nail polish racks full of G4 so the color definitely matters more there- white might make the most sense the more I think about it. Though I love the idea of an accent wall!!

I just love seeing pictures of this room so amazing and clean.
Seconded on the white it also hides dust better as well as not clashing with ponies. If not white maybe aqua green colour if that makes sence

I went bold with my pony room/craft room because I wanted to do a Harry Potter theme. I went purple, that ended up perfectly matching Garden Glade:
