Bows can be for your hair or pony hair. I even make them to attach to pet collars. I have tested on two pets, and they don't mind it.
Puppy sweater...I can finally show off as it was for a swap.

Never heard of these before but I love the idea!
Sadly I don't knit so I can't offer any patterns or inspiration. Looking forward to seeing what others come up with, though. And please post pics of your blanket, I'd love to see!
-
Oh I always love the temperature projects (a variation I've seen is sky colour - ends up being white, grey, and blues). I keep trying to figure out how to turn it into a plastic canvas project....but it's hard coming up with something that's 365 rows.

Some temp blankets go only 30 days. I need to get pictures...so behind:p

All i can do is crochet a chain...
But i have a cheap pun for you:
Knot a problem!
Hope it helps.
-
Lost pony you so made my day:) I stink at making a crochet chain.
-
Love those knitted pony blankets!
-
I didnt say it would be a good chain...my grandpa taught me when i was little and i vcould never improve or learn more crochet.
Im glad i was able to help!
You already know but i too love all those goodies you made in your pictures. So wonderful! I think my favorite is Cotton Candy snuggled into her royal cloak. So perfect!
Im curious can you knit with skinnier yarn to make closer-fitting things like the way crochet can make doilies and such? Im thinking pony-scale thicknesses. Probably be a ton more work to do, right?
I just read the link and it seems you could do this for all sorts of data. Pretty neat!
-
I use a very thin yarn and needle for my pony stuff. I have not tried knitting thread. It is a thought as I would live to knitvthings for G4 ponies, but they are small.
-
I like this idea although it won't work very well for the type of blankets I like to knit. I could get behind a scarf though. I'm not sure I'd want to do something weather themed since the temperature doesn't fluctuate much... and I can't really think of any other data set to do at the moment. Love your work!
-
Thank you so much. I can not wait to see yours:)
-
Those knitted pony clothes are so cute! I love the Royal cape :)
Love pkw xxx
-
Thank you:) I can make one for you:)
-
I can make a crochet chain with just my fingers, but I have no idea what to do with it when I am done. I have used the chain in some of my felt ornaments such as cherry stems and what knot..stealing the pun for more fun.
-
Haha. That is how far I make It too:)
-
I'm in a crochet group where a lot of people are doing temp blankets, and one really awesome idea I saw was to do a square for each month, them sew them together into a blanket; that way it isn't so huge and heavy?
The sqiares were made from the center out, though, in rounds, and Im not aure how well that would work in knitting... she went with a count of 31 days per month, and added black to the months with fewer, so the squares would be the same size.

A new item I posted
