PC on shipping Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie?
« on: July 12, 2012, 08:44:39 AM »
Hi
I was wondering if anyone has every shipped a Sing and Dance Pinkie Pie MIB?
I need to know:

How much does it weigh?
What shipping method is the best (cheapest) for both within the USA and for over seas?
What did you pay? (and where did you ship)

THANK YOU

[moving to TS ~ many thanks ~ hathorcat]

I think it's really going to depend on where you're shipping to and what kind of box you use.  I haven't shipped a Sing N Dance Pinkie, but I've shipped a few of the Giant Blanks.  They're about the same size and weight.  I've had them cost anywhere from $10 to $50 with Priority.  I'd get some dimensions of the box you plan to use and quote it on USPS.  With packaging it shouldn't weigh more than about 5 pounds.

Shipped one inside Europe but I guess that won't help ya.
I've shipped it in a large box (around 10 kg) and paid around $30 (with tracking & insurance)
It was the version with the two bonus ponies.

Hopefully someone can come along and help you  :)

I honestly have never had one in hand to even give you an estimate.  :(

Do by chance have a food scale that you can weigh her on? And a box that she will fit in for dimensions?  If so you can go to USPS.com and get an estimate of what it will cost you ship anywhere in the world.

They also have flat rate shipping boxes at the PO.  It will just take you taking her to there to see what she fits in one of them to give you an idea on price.  I think they have small, medium, and large set price boxes.  I actually would not recommend them for domestic shipping but they may come in handy if it's International and it's a rather large package.  But like I said I am not sure how big she is as I have never seen her in person.

She won't fit in a flat rate box.
She weights 2lb 15 oz -plan on about 3 pounds 4 oz when she is boxed.
The smallest box I could see her fitting in will be about 14x13x6.
If you use those number on usps.com you should be able to get a pretty good idea of shipping.
