I don't know what it is, but I know that here in the UK we had a bunch of shows when I was a kid that had been made in European countries and translated into English for us here (or made here in the UK). So it may well be a European series of some kind that was translated and shown in your country?

Tbh I'd prefer Lady Lessons over Miss Hackney. I haven't really read anything w/ LL or seen that much of Tales so I don't have any "personal" stake in it... I just think Lady Lessons is cuter :B

Kitcatepic I know exactly what you mean!! Even though I'm not a huge G4 fan, and I'm as sick of the main 6 as anyone, their colours were so pretty together, both as a group and like, how their colours coordinated individually, if that makes sense? I'm not sure how to phrase it either but I definitely agree with you that G5's palette seems less.... something.

I would rather have LL too, just because I'm sure the school should have been her playset, and then ultimately wasn't. Though I do wonder if they migrated her colours and used them for Love Token instead...

I actually like quite a few G4 figures, although I'm sick of the Mane 6 and I don't like FIM. They may not have been super horsey but they were cute, and some had really nice colour schemes.

I don't think the G5 (and this may be true for some G4) pony palette choice is helped by the decision to make the packages dark pink/purple/magenta and white. It is especially bad with Sunny though, given her hair colour and the boldness of her body. The one we saw yesterday was far from the ugliest Sunny I've seen, but she looked hemmed in by the colours of her packaging and it didn't really sell her well.

HoM, great to hear about Ozzy! :D
I need to wash my hair in the sink too. I wanted to do it yesterday but was too tired.

I got the laundry done :accomplished: I need to wash my blanket still, but that's just one thing, so easy. Changing the sheets on the bed should be done today but my back is really hurting, so I don't know. It's times like this that I want to move my bed out in the room, but I like being against the wall when sleeping

These crack me up :silly: They're so silly, I love them.

Ableist language and actions really bother me because it really puts self-created limits on what people think they can do.  It's like the Down Syndrome awareness PSA :  "if you think I can't ______,, then you don't treat me like I can ______, and then I don't ______."

I know quite a few people who could probably be quite self-sufficient, contribute to the workforce, and be more independent, but it doesn't fit their family and support providers' narratives and definitions, so they think they can't work  or shouldn't work.  To the best of your ability, I say!  If you need supports, then by all means, use them, but don't opt out of doing things "because you can't (because you believed someone telling you that)".

Technology advances all the time - if there are now mechanized suits (like in anime), you can walk and lift and exercise!  Japan has several cafes that have robots that are operated by paraplegic people at home, using special headsets that connect directly to their brains .  if you need a service animal to help detect if you're going to have a medical episode, that's totally fine.  if you need a communication device/speech board/etc. , that's no different than the millions of other humans who can't get their face out of their phone LOL  It's no reason to opt out of society, hide yourself away, and be lonely.
I was asked once if I could help elderly housebound people to access the internet as I'm quite computer savvy. I talked about the things these people could do, including sell hand-made items online for a little extra cash. The carers who interviewed me were NOT having that, despite pensions being something you can supplement with a small extra income, & I was shut down because I didn't "understand". What I didn't understand was the carers' need to keep their clients fully dependent without adding any contributions. Like, so they can't use their legs & feet, but the can still use their hands!!!
The whole attitude of "these folks can't do anything" is just maddening. Like what if they want to or need to for their sanity???

I voted for Buttons, but I like Bangles more, if that makes sense. :P I don't like Buttons' pose, and I never liked her character on the show either. However, Bangles, despite being in one of my favourite poses and the fact that I like her symbol much more that Buttons', always looks so off to me. Clear-ish and "fleshy", almost like a fakie. Buttons looks more solid.
