The Wingfeather series, I am on book 3. I jumped in funding the animated series without reading the books. It looked super cool. So far the story and characters are amazing.

I only watched 9-11 and most of 12
Tenth Doctor (David Tennant) and Eleventh Doctor (Matt Smith) are almost tied. I REALLY like Matt Smith. I didn't like 12 as I think he is mean and rude to his companion, which might make sense if it was a new companion, not Clara.

Pony Corral / General PC and Trends for all Gens?
« on: November 16, 2021, 04:40:07 PM »
Hey!
I haven't been actively collecting, but I am curious about price trends, last time I was on here was maybe 2017.
People were getting tired of G4 and selling stuff off cheap. G3 was everywhere and cheap. It seems to me according to Evilbay everything costs more? have prices of specific Gens or individual ponies gone way up? I like more unique items like different poses, characters, baby ponies, cross-genre stuff, etc and really all gens.

Off Topic / Re: Vanilla flavoring made out of plastic waste
« on: November 16, 2021, 04:26:19 PM »
Nasty. There is this too. Scientists are able to create vanilla flavors out of a beaver’s anal secretions. Technically called castoreum (and technically secreted from a special gland right next to the anus), the thick, brownish goo smells rather pleasant even before processing. But although castoreum-based vanilla has been used in food and fragrances for decades, it’s rare you’ll find beaver-derived vanilla in any of your food today. This type is used primarily in fragrances for things like lotion and candle wax.

One thing I loved about FIM is that each pony was feminine in her own way and never less than. Being a girl is fun and amazing. <3 Random online chats are usually very toxic.

Actively avoiding Mulan, Beauty and the Beast, leery about Hunchback, Tarzan, Jungle book and Atlantis sequels.

Pretty much all! Even before Disney Plus. A few sequels I won't watch for cringe reasons. I regret watching Cinderella II.  Huge Disney house fan. Pretty sure I saw Icabod and Mr Toad but need to rewatch the Icabod part. Anyone remember Ben and Me? I loved that one. I don't have much interest in Tinkerbell movies. Bed Knobs and Broomsticks I don't remember.

Arts & Crafts Corral / Re: How much would you charge for acrylic paintings?
« on: November 16, 2021, 03:01:46 PM »
An amatuer(you may or may not be idk) could charge less than minimum wage. What is it worth to you? Some artists especially hobby/self taught just want to make a bit over the cost of supplies to support their hobby. If it costs $5 for supplies and takes 4 hours to draw and paint, would you be willing to paint one for $20? Or do you want it to be worth your time? I am professionally trained and it can be hard selling art and finding a niche or market for it. I'd try to keep it under $30 for you. You can always lower or raise your price if there is too much or too little demand.

Pony Corral / Re: What happened to your childhood pony?
« on: June 22, 2020, 05:44:06 PM »
I still have the first pony I ever received when I was 4 yrs old. Now a worn, faded, yellowed Baby Sweet Stuff with frizzy hair, a forelock cut, and it's symbols and part of it's eye rubbed off. I have all my other childhood ponies as well. Flower Bouquet, ballerina baby sweet steps, Posy, Nightglider, Glittering Gem, Sunglider (I lost when I was 10 somehow), Daddy Apple Delight, and baby Glory, plus Lil' litters and petite ponies (many of those got lost, I dropped one bunny down a storm drain). Some boys gave me a beat up Highflyer, my mom later threw out. My collection exploded when I started buying as a teen and got my younger sisters in on it. We played with our collection until me and my sister went to college, my youngest sisters were 12. :D Mine are all now in a bin under my bed, though my 3yr old daughter steals any that make it out of the bin (even though she has her own), so Nightglider and custom bait Flower Bouquet are in her room atm.

Pony Corral / Re: Non pony species- what is your favorite?
« on: June 22, 2020, 05:19:53 PM »
Lil' litters! I bought 4 or 5 sets of lil' litters with my own money in 2nd and 3rd grade. Cats, bunnies, and dogs. I was so excited to find the siamese, I begged my mom to buy it and promised to wash all the dishes for a week. I think she relented because it was in a toy store 3 hours away from our house. My sister got 2 as well (she spent most of her money on popsicles and toy dinosaurs). We played with those even more than our ponies for a long time! I still have the beat up moms and even some of the babies! I love those cute little animals!
