It just seems silly to have both (what I presume is) the original rank name and then a custom rank name above and below the trade count number.

The post-based ranks will keep changing as you keep posting. :) But once you get to 1,000 posts you can have a custom title.

Thanks for changing my rank SDS.  I thought the custom rank would replace the Arena Rank.  So I was wondering why I had two ranks listed, customized and arena.  I think it's supposed to be that way. :)

Hi SDS, I hope you don't mind me posting this here, it's not custom-rank related but it is admin related. I thought if I posted here rather than PMing you could have a look at it when you next come to do admin stuff rather than me asking you my PM to come away from whatever you're doing to look at this...


Anyways, after much rambling, every time I log in it tells me I have 3 new messages but I don't have any. Then every time I click on a different part of the forum the message pops up again and it's starting to drive me a bit batty ;) Lol. Please would you have a look to see if you could get rid of this for me?

When you get to 1000 posts, you can have a custom title. But I think you are asking when it could be changed again? I don't think we have a time in mind, per se, although it would be preferable not to have to change it too quickly or often.

I don't mean to be a pain, but could I just have my custom rank removed? I know I asked fairly recently for it to be changed, but the company did something today and I no longer feel comfortable supporting them. I can't think of anything else to change my rank to, but if you can't just remove it I'll think of something.

It's not permanent, although we encourage a member to be willing to stick with the title for a decent amount of time. Several months to half a year as a rough guideline. :)

We dont normally allow multiple changes as other wise we could spend a lot of time just changing them for everyone...so I would say you need to be happy to keep this new one. :) I have changed it for you.
