To deflock or not to deflock?
« on: August 20, 2014, 02:16:34 AM »
So I have this very yellowed cupcake. She has nice hair and her flocking is in good shape.....but her head is white and her body not so much. So should I deflock her or trade her for a more baity girl?

STOP! Try whitening her in a peroxide solution sun bath! I did this with Truly, she got whiter! I'll post pics in a little bit...

I WILL LOVE HER! I will trade you for something else!!! Please think about sending her to my Sanctuary!!!
I love Truly and I love her soft! She has hope! head/body mismatch won't be helped a lot by deflocking.

She is a lovely pony when deflocked. If her flocking and glue are in poor condition, I agree - go for it if you will appreciate her more deflocked.
Thank you Matcha for my gorgeous Baby Fifi avi

I bleached bathed many SS ponies so if the flocking is nice still, I would put that accetone down...

Ok I will post a pic latter on. I am not a big fan of the flocking as...I have a tactile aversion to it. But I love cupcake and if people feel strongly about me not deflocking her I guess I can trade her for something. I am just afraid if I try anymore methods of whitening her  the flocking will sluff off anyway.

Also I a pretty sure it is her glue that's yellowed not her body.
