Hmm. I say, is she especially filthy? Does she have a large number of "bald spots"? If not, she looks like she doesn't need to be deflocked at all. In fact, she looks dang perfect to me.

She looks soo lovely as is. My bangles is very discolored and has a chewed horn :( I`m sure there is someone who would love to trade for her.

Ooooh she is gorgeous! I Would definitely say keep her as is on display for awhile and if you eventually decide you would like her better defrocked, sell her and buy one that has thin flocking!

I personally like your Bangles too much to deflock her and I'm a deflocker, I have about 8 on my counter right now (Not Bangles, but other SS ponies) and I've seen MUCH worse looking Bangles, I would agree with people saying, keep her around for a minute, see if you like her flocked... if not, deflock her. At least Bangles isn't going for $50+ like Crumpet so a replacement isn't a huge investment...

You know, I have 2 much worse Bangles in my pony room.  I had intended to deflock one but they each had one flaw and one redeeming quality the other didn't, so I just left them.  I'd trade you one of them for yours if you're looking for a deflock candidate.  :)

Oh my.... I genuinely didn't realise that the condition of this one was as good as everyone has made out   This is the first Bangles I have handled so haven't had any experience to compare against!  So thank you everyone for your input  :)

I have soaked her overnight to try and remove the stains on her coat, which now that I've had your replies, I think must be some of the yellowing Hathorcat mentioned she is prone to. I've had great success cleaning up other SS's this way, but Bangles is proving a bit stubborn lol! Nevertheless, I think I will keep her for now (and flocked too, just to reassure you all ), but thank you so much Skeen for your offer!!  If I change my mind I might be in touch  :)
