To open or not to open

So I've been going through my collection and I have quite a lot of mib G3.  I already gave in and opened my valentine Rarity because you can't even really see her best features because of the packaging.  And I'm really glad I did.  I styled her hair and she may be one of my new favorites.

So here I am posing to you all again, the age old question of collectors.  Should I open more? Or keep them in their boxes?  It is possible that I may want to sell them in the future, so I don't want to drastically devalue a more valuable pony.

Here are the ponies that I am considering opening.

SLH Dibble Dabble
Peri Winkle
Denim Blue
Forsythia
Wing Song (with goody gumdrop)
January Joy
Midnight Dream
Whistle Wishes

You may want to leave January Joy in the box, but the others, I say open them! Especially Denim Blue, she is one of my faves and you'll love her too I'm sure, such beautiful blues need to be free!

I am a loose collector (MIB takes up too much room) and I like to play with my ponies I say free them all!

Ahem, I'm not a MIB collector (space restrictions) but I don't think deboxing most G3's does much to them value wise.

I second that notion that January Joy would be best left in the box.

For the rest? Tear 'em open!  I opened up some Valentines G3s and it was FUN!

I am keep in the box kind of person. Some of them are getting harder to find still in there boxes.

I think it needs to be a personal choice - simply put what gives you the most enjoyment? Loose or MIB?

Personally as they are G3 I would probably open them but thats because in general I prefer loose ponies.
