I'm trying to catalogue my collection just for my own personal sake;; I have trouble keeping track of things lol. But I've hit kind of a wall with my 2007 collectors pose repro set. I have no idea where to place them, are they usually considered g1s, or g3s, or something else entirely? :what:
-
I personally don't consider them G1's, I have them listed as merchandise...
-
Mine are hanging out with the rest of my collector's pose army, but they're some sort of... merch, I guess, like mlp4me said, IMO. They're definitely not g3, and they're definitely not g1 in my opinion XD
-
I consider them G1 Retro Release Toys
-
To me they are "G1s" but not real G1s. I keep my repro Minty together with my other Mintys (concave feet, flat feet, italy, etc).
If I only had them mib I would probably keep them with my G3s based on production year.
-
I consider anything G1-styled but not released in the 80s, to be "G1 Retro". That said, I'm probably not the best person to ask since all of my ponies (/collections) are clustered together instead of being seperated by generation XD

i consider them G1, here is a pic of mine (only 3) with my other G1 collector pose army's and collector pose Nirvana's

Mine are mish-mashed together as well.

G1s are as much about the production time period as the body style to me. So I wouldn't classify them as G1. I guess like others I would categorize as "merch" along with my newer G1 nostalgia items.
-
Hard to categorize. Mine are MIB so they used to sit on the shelf where they looked nicest. If I had them loose I would probably put them in a merchandise section... they don't' fit with the G3 or G1s.

Nice to know it's not just me :) I don't have the space to have mine seperate, and anyway I like how it looks with everything mixed together, hehe.
