Ponies adopting babies!

Sometimes when I get a new baby pony or adult pony I pair them up.

Whizzer recently adopted Baby Northstar and they look very happy together. I think the Rainbow Curl ponies go really well with the Rainbow Baby ponies. 

Does anyone else do this? What adopted baby and mommy ponies just seem to go well together?

With the exception of Babies Blossom, Glory and Moondancer, my baby ponies are all rather independant and prefer the company of their peers rather then their elders.  I do like your idea of mommies and babies pairing up at your house.

Lol not all of them have mommies! I have a set of 3 newborns who like to hang out by themselves (well sorta anyway- they are near adults)

I had several parent/baby sets in my childhood herd, although they often were more according to pose than anything else. 

Sunbeam (dad) and Moondancer (mom) were the parents of Baby Moondancer and Baby Up Up and Away. 
Moonstone (dad) and Twilight (mom) were the parents of Baby Ribbon. 
Heart Throb's daughters were Baby North Star and Baby Dots and Hearts. 
Powder (dad) and Coco Berry (mom) were the parents of Baby Sandcastle. 
The Skydancers (I had two, and one had a hacked mane, so that one was the dad) were the parents of Baby Surprise and the two winger Little Flitters. 
Medley (dad) and Firefly (mom) were the parents of Baby Firefly and Sparkle Baby Firefly, as well as winger Skydancer. 
Magic Star (dad) and Truly (mom) had Baby Waddles, Baby Paws, and Baby Cuddles. 
Tux 'n Tails and Princess Dawn had Baby Sweetsteps.
I think Baby Ember was an orphan. 
I don't remember who pearlized Baby Glory was with.  Maybe Sparkler?
Now that I have Baby Beach Ball, I think I would pair her with my Hula Hula (who is currently in a box). 

I had a couple of actual families (Bright Bouquet and Apple Delight), in addition to the ones I made up.

Aw I love the idea of pairing them up! Most of my ponies came to me very grimy so I'm still working my way through cleaning them all. But I think I'll do some pairs when they are all shiny and clean!

In my childhood ponies I didn't have a matching mommy and baby pair. I did pretend Pina Colada and Baby Palm Tree were mother and baby. To explain Baby Palm Tree's wings I pretended she got them from her father who was a Pegasus although I don't know who that would have been since Hasbro didn't make any boy pegasus ponies.

When I was a kid Milky Way was the mom, Powder the dad and baby Noddins was the baby. When I got Baby Glider as an adult she was added to the family.

Baby Shaggy was Sweet Tooth's baby.

I have to think about what other pairs I had but those 2 families are what I can think of off the top of my head. Most of my ponies are in storage right now but once I get everyone out and on display I'm sure I'll create some more families.

And then g4 arrived and said screw you two earth ponies can have unicorn and pegasus babies...

For me my newborn jabber and jebber were adopted by curly locks, because she came in the same lot than jebber.The same thing happened with baby gusty and bouquet (since they are both white and i don't have a gusty yet).

I didn't do that as a kid, but I've started to as an adult.. 

The regular babies have to have a mom, that's why when I acquired a baby Firefly, I ended up getting a momma for her when I didn't even pay attention to Firefly before. Same thing with baby Moondancer. This doesn't apply to the twins or Pretty Pal babies..they seem pretty happy..ha! Although I do have a working baby sitter at the nursery so there is adult supervision..Posey was the first. Then it was Moondancer, and now it's Firefly.

My baby ponies all have mommies. I never match the babies with the adults because I find it weird they're so similar, except for my Sundance army. They all hang out together. NC Sundance adopted de-BBE baby Sundance and SS Sundance is usually watching over BBE baby Sundance.

Peachy has adopted baby Cotton Candy.
Squeezer, Romper, and baby Count-a-lot arrived together so they're a family.

The other babies are going to get new families

Yes! My Flower Bouquet adopted Princess Baby Sparkle originally, as I had no other baby ponies. Now PBS hangs out with Zig Zag.

Yup. I mean there are more baby ponies without parents then there are with them.

My Blushie and Steamer are parents to Rainfeather

Fizzy and Ice Crystal are parents to Baby Ice Crystal

Bunnyhop is mom to my fakies, Sour Pop and Spinner

Curlylocks adopted my fakie Dolly

Starhopper adopted Sparkle Baby Gusty

Custom Shanty is mom to Sea Star and will be mom to the other baby sea ponies

Star Catcher has a teenage daughter in my fakie Love Song

I haven't decided who is gonna adopt Baby Bouncy yet, but I'm thinking Aurora Mist, Sea Breeze or Wave Runner would be good choices.

Haven't gotten the parents I've picked out for Noddins or Drummer either. But Drummer's dad will be Wigwam and his mom a G4-G3 Lira Heartstrings custom I want done.

Crumpet adopted NBT Rattles and Tattles.
Powder adopted Baby Blossom.

For awhile, Tex was a single dad to G3 Baby Butter Candy.
