When G3 first came out I collected them for awhile, but then I realized after the novelty wore off that I just wasn't in to them as much as the G1 ponies. I just didn't get the same feeling when I bought them as I did with G1s. So I am thinking of selling them. I do have a few faves that I will probably hold on to, but the rest can probably go. I took most of them out of their boxes and they were only displayed and then stored- never played with. I even have some play sets - most which I didn't take out of the box/ packaging- I just took the ponies out. I am just curious to about how much the loose G3 ponies go for? I probably collected them for the first 2 years or so.

Hi Sukey!

Common/uncommon loose G3s can go for as little as $2 to probably about $15. There are, of course, some rare/special ones that will go for more, but most don't go for too much. You can check out www.strawberryreef.com for price-checking individual ponies, although most prices will be a little out of date. You can also browse eBay to see how other collectors price their G3s, although you'll probably find a lot of overpriced ponies there.

Hope this helps! G3 is my childhood gen, and although they're discontinued, unfortunately loose ones don't go for a whole lot unless a particular collector is willing to pay more.

Unfortunately, they don't go for very much. I've got a bunch sitting in storage that I would love to re-home with someone who would appreciate them. Even at $5-6 MiB, sales have been slow, and that's about half of what they cost in stores here. $2-3 loose seems to be the norm for the early ones.

And some of the more generic ones such as Star Swirl you would have to lot up with some not so common to make them go away...

The pricing is completely pony-dependent.

I agree with the previous posters - $2-5 for most of them, with the odd popular pony exception. You may have quicker and better luck selling them in lots

You will get a little less per pony but it should make it easier to sell more of them.

Caribbean Delight,Anchors Away, Port-A-Bella, Breast Cancer pony, TRU exclusive birthflower ponies, Northern Lights, Jingle Jangle and Ribbons and Bows
All G3 MLP fair and SDCC ponies also

Wow! A lot of pretty G3s there.

I was looking at a few of them over on Strawberry Reef last night. I'm trying to make a small list of them that I want first. I really like the design of the G3 ponies for some reason. I'm mainly into G4 because I love the show, but I also want to compliment those with some ponies from the other gens as well. Good luck finding homes for these guys.
