25th Anniversary Ponies

I really like my sets.  I haven't taken them out yet, but it's nice to have gotten ponies that are similar enough to the original G1s.  I wished they would have kept the original eyes though.  I don't mind any of the other changes - I actually like the new colors better as I'm attracted to brighter colors.  The rainbow sets are harder to come by.  I picked up another one set of the original 3 for my niece off eBay so she can have a piece of the wonderful memories I did.  Now if only I had a daughter to give ponies to!  My 2 year old is such a boy, he has absolutely no interest in anything much but cars, trains, and monster trucks.  I guess I should be happy or else he'd ask me to open all my sets!

I'm still hoping to come across these sets for a good price, sadly when they came out I wasn't yet a collector or I would have snapped them up then
