I'm not sure if these have been found yet, but as I was out looking for the set with Applejack, I came across the new Rainbows!! They had all but Starflower and Pinwheel..

This is partly why I'm more or less done with buying any more new mlp releases from Hasbro. The fact that they can't produce anything that meets this level of quality (while other toy manufacturers can) is inexcusable. I'm curious as to what they'll come up with for their G5's, but I won't get my hopes up.
I mean, for Frick's sake, they stopped doing forlocks/bangs after the first G4 wave because, what, it was too costly? What??

Would having them around baking soda maybe help with removing the scent from the plastic? Or even leaving them outside in the sun? I still haven't deboxed mine yet, but I'm starting to wonder if I should.

Wth is Hasbro thinking to not produce more g1 related merchandise or make them more readily avail? Wouldn't u think the G1s are selling much better than the G4 merchandise right now? (I don't understand the G4 fandom, is their quite a cult following?)
I was thinking the same, it seems the 35th anniversary ponies are doing really well and selling regularly, then again I don't know their sale figures... It always seemed like in the past, Hasbro didnt't want anything to do with their G1 past, maybe hopefully now they'll see there's a market for it.. It's okay, I don't understand G4 fandom either, alot of G4 fans are strictly fans of just the show and it's characters, and not so much MLP fans or collectors overall.. the fandom did get crazy weird after some time (as with all fandoms on the internet), but hopefully it's dying down a bit... It saddens and disappoints me that Hasbro will barely venture out into making other pony characters as brushables, and I've mostly stopped buying alot of G4 ponies as a result (yay for saving money).. that money will go to Bridge Direct and their anniversary ponies instead... Speaking of which, I finally found Moonstone the other day  I love going out and hunting for these, it's literally like finding G1 ponies again, I couldn't be happier about it.. Hoping Bridge Direct has more in store after the 3rd wave of ponies..

Just got all but one of the Rainbows (got Windy a week ago, then picked up 4 others last night) - I'm only missing Moonstone now... Which is weird because almost two weeks ago, I had checked a Target who had maybe just gotten the Rainbows in, they had all but Moonstone. I thought perhaps someone had grabbed her. Well Thursday, another Target informed me they were getting more Rainbows in on the 25th; I could call that morning and have them reserved until I could come get them. I called an hour after the store had opened, and an employee did say they had rainbows and held onto them for me (though he didn't tell me which ones). When I came later that day to pick them up, sure enough it was all but Moonstone /: So either shipments of Rainbows to my local Target stores are minus Moonstone for some reason, or maybe employees are grabbing her as they get put out on the shelf, but it is weird to say the least :/

Me and Ponypunk went out to several Targets that, on their website, listed as having the Pretty Parlor in stock in their store, but there was absolutely nothing once we got there. No Pretty Parlor, no rainbows, not even the six Collectors set (but they did have baby sea ponies and the g4 liquid motion ponies on clearence).

I've been out of the loop for some time, what was the ETA of the Firefly, Glory, Moonstone, Sunbeam, etc pony releases that were unvieled some time ago? And the Rainbow set?

I'd also like to add -- I would rather the retro ponies continue be released in a mass market store not limited edition releases from a convention.
On the one hand yeah, on the other hand I'd like to have both.
Personally I would be happy if they used G4 molds with G1 characters. Like if they'd done a pack with G4 style Firefly, Moondancer, and Bow Tie or whoever. But if wishes were horses . . . (HO HO HO see what I did there?)
I would sell my left kidney for this.

I think every single one of my G3 sparkle ponies (all 3 or 4 of them) had this happen to them. Had to eventually toss them out, no amount of cleaning could cure it.

But these newer G4s are really kind of cute  visitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginvisitors can't see pics , please register or loginI finally opened up the TRU Friendship Festival collection after unsuccessfully trying to sell it, and also because the box itself was just too big... But I do like these static poses more (static pose fan), and sadly, I see myself buying the pearly Best Gift Ever set as well because they're static  Just wish there were other characters in the same pose...
