Opinion needed on a rehair project

I've got 3 excellent fancy mermaid babies except they all had haircuts.  The bodies and symbols are still great.  I plan to leave the bodies and most likely leave the symbols original.  My question is the hair.  I have plenty of the right colors of hair to fix all them.  Since I am going through the trouble of rehairing, I wondered about replacing the hair with a unique color.   I plan to sell these ponies as soon as they are finished. So I wanted an opinion which would sell easier - rehaired with the original color or rehaired with unique colors.

Since you're not changing them otherwise, give them their original colors.  The people who are going to want them are collectors who want those specific ponies.  Just make sure to mark them as rehaired in a discrete place like the bottom of a hoof.
