Body - G3 Rainbowdash II. Hair- I don't remember where I got the hair but the package is about 3 ft long and says Super & Jumbo 100% Kanekalon and there's probably enough to do 5 ponies (or more) with one package. It doesn't hold a style at all, so she is standing on her tail because it wants to stick up/out way to much no matter how many times I boil it and smash it against her rear with a rubber band. She is 95% finish the rest is a necklace made from shrinky-dink based on my sister tattoo but my printer is out of ink.

She is lovely! I love that hair color and the symbol is adorable. Have you thought about painting the iris of the eye the same color as the hair? It would look so pretty. Great work! :)

What a wonderful gift! Her colors are so fresh! That hair color is perfect! It's a bummer that its hard to style, but she looks great with straight hair!

I couldn't decided what color to paint them. I was thinking making them stand out and match the necklace (that isn't done) which is purple and yellow. I'm affraid of messing up and then not having any eyes at all. Will the paint stick to the eyes with out removing the original?
-
Most definitely. You do not have to remove the old paint.
As a beginner, I found it was easier to leave the old paint on as a guide while still learning the eye shape. It can be so tempting to just leave the eyes "factory", but it can sometimes look unfinished and often eyes are one of the most distinctive (in terms of artist recognition) things about a custom. :)
I think eyes can make or break a custom and unfortunately, they are one of the hardest things to get right. I recommend loading very little paint on a very small (5/0 or smaller) brush and using very little wrist/hand pressure when applying the paint. And remember practice really does make perfect. ;)
Oh and the purple/yellow to match the necklace sounds lovely!
