Sooo I was just curious if anyone makes clothing/ dresses for their mlp. When I checked online, I was surprised that there wasnt very many resources on dress making for ponies as opposed to doll dress making which is disappointing since I just got into sewing and wanted to make some dresses for my toys. recently as I’ve had more free time, I’ve been getting into sewing since that’s always been one of my special interests. I thought it’d be a great idea to try making dresses for my g4 ponies since hasbro never really released any clothing for the g4 ponies as opposed to other gens. after I made two I thought they turned out so cute First dress: https://imgur.com/gallery/UOtab3MMermaid style dress: https://imgur.com/gallery/r22TG3hWip dress: https://imgur.com/gallery/XiPudN7Looking for any constructive criticism especially from anyone who’s made clothing for their ponies before, next time I’d like to make actual full dresses with not only skirts but also a top bodice part that can fit around the pony’s hind legs which sounds challenging so tips are appreciated from anyone with sewing knowledge!

So I'm not really sure what sub this belongs to but! can anyone help me id this doll? I don't have much info on her other than her limbs were once attached to her body by an elastic (apparently when I was little I pulled her limbs out and really played rough with her  ) i think shes made of porcelain?? and stands about 5 inches tall if she had her limbs. anyways id really love to restore her but I'm not sure where I should even start what type of replacement limbs I should even buy, hair, dress, etc. I know i have very little to give but id appreciate any info on her or the manufacturer! https://imgur.com/a/bMO2uA7

I have sunshine pony seaflower. her hair is fine except for the pink stripes which are super frizzy at the ends and it bothers me bc I can't display her. I was wondering if it was safe to use heat to defrizz it. would that ruin the color changing properties of her hair? I'm not even sure if it still changes color tbh https://imgur.com/a/soY6R7p

so I recently bought a g1 streaky and she's loveliest thing ever ,but I noticed that her hair has sort of a dry texture to it, it's still curly and bouncy thankfully. since I don't know so much about g1s, I wanted ask did the rainbow curl ponies have a different hair texture or is it just this one bc of age? or did they have gel? I'd really like for it to be softer before I recurl it. would it be alright to use conditioner? coconut oil? or would that ruin it? https://imgur.com/a/NleOPdv

I opened the box to find that the pony and inside packaging had some yellow ick (I'm assuming dog $h!t or puke??) -either way, nothing as advertised.  part of me wants to hold on to her bc I love seaflower but the other half wants to return her (no way I'm touching her again until I figure out what that stuff on her is exactly  ) but anyway, I have yet to message the seller and ask them to clear things up. how should I go on to doing that?–nicely. what's even weirder is that they have 100% positive feedback .. maybe its smth else and I'm overreacting but .. help me my pony fam -fae update: resolved restoration pics! : https://imgur.com/gallery/ltOdiDj

Hi, I have a sweet song (g4) I bought second hand who seems to have unusually straight hair (hopefully untreated) Is there a way to get her hair to sort of permanently curl or bounce like sunny rays and skywishes? without using heat? So I went to check on my ponies and noticed that something terrible had happened to both meadow flower and sea swirl. https://imgur.com/a/Sg4BdCZTheir hair had sort of melted? when all I had done was left them sitting with my other gals. I never used heat or put anything in their hair just plain water—in fact, they were bought just three days ago as upgrades as my previous sea swirl and meadow flower had extremely frizzy hair. My guess is that it was maybe because of the sun shining from the window but I didn't think the hair quality would be that low. 0_o what sucks is that they were the first pearly ponies I had ever seen with decent hair and now that's all gone.

For a long time, I have wanted a ploomette ( non glimmer wings ) in excellent condition but I am just never able to get my hands on one. Today I have two lovely ploomettes both in flawed condition and am willing to trade both for one in excellent condition ( no frizz, haircuts, acetone rubs, or any major marks ) The first one is in acceptable condition overall. She doesn't appear to have any marks or blemishes. Her hair has obviously seen better days as the tinsel was cut out but hair is still very soft overall. Idk if I should've made this a whole thread but does dollyhair take paypal? or can you only use credit card? I'm only 16 so I don't have a credit card of my own and my dad doesn't trust other credit cards which is understandable. I was just wondering since the paypal button is at the bottom of the site but it isn't an option when checking out. yeahh I'm stupid and I have no idea how anything along this line works.  I'm buying from Retrodolls instead which takes paypal plus she's not as nasty. thanks for your input everyone.

So I heard from somewhere that running your ponies under water can cause problems like tail rust and icky mold. I wash my ponies—a LOT (mostly to keep them clean) and every time I do so I kinda feel guilty because there must be a lot going on inside them without me even knowing.
