Alright, thank you to everyone! I guess I was too enthusiastic over the prospect of my first deflocking experience! Good thing I asked!
Silly question - does anyone know of any re-flocking attempts?Plenty of people de-flocking their So Softs, and my limited knowledge of textiles and their processes doesn't give me any clues as to how someone could re-flock a pony.It seems to be a factory process that would be hard to replicate by hand.Any thoughts?Cheers!

In the factory, they have a giant tank - the flocking is blown in and flies around the inside. Then they electrify the chamber and the static electricity causes the flocking to "jump" onto the toy. Since they were sprayed/dipped in adhesive, the flocking sticks. These machines are super, super expensive though... like $5,000.00. That's a huge bulk order of re-flocks!
All you need is glue and flocking ^^ there is a tutorial on it!
