I think I have one of the earlier Rarities for sale on my Depop: Here. I'd be happy to deal through here of course.
If you're in the USA and interested, I could root around my big big to-clean bag to see who's in there. I probably don't have the Applejack with a forelock but I think I might have another early Fluttershy...unless you're after specifically the first wave ones, I think I may only have the ones with the thinner face molds.
Anyway, that's really frustrating! I've definitely misplaced a few ponies here or there, and they're always in some stupid spot, too...
Ooh, yes please! I'd love to see who all you have! It doesn't matter to me if they're first wave or not, I just want my ponies ^^' Do you have that Rarity listed on eBay as well? I swear I was looking at the same one last night.

I went digging in my pony bin looking for my first wave G4 brushables to put out on display...only to find that they weren't there! Before my first move, I remember giving several G4 blind bag ponies to my niece, but I don't remember giving her my brushables. So, now I'm on a mission to get them back xD
I had:
- Rarity
- Fluttershy
- Applejack
- Sunset Shimmer
- Bubbles
I feel so incredibly silly ^^' At least I still have my G1s! <3

Flocked, but only if it's near mint and I know it's CLEAN. I can imagine flocking holding onto a lot of germs, much like a plushie. But, aside from that, perfectly flocked SS ponies look like they'd be nice to snuggle~

I tried to go as thin as possible, but the stuff I got (Liquitex) is pretty thick, so there are some uneven areas. I couldn't find my makeup sponges, so I just used some dry bushing/stippling for blending. Currently waiting on the first coat of varnish to dry before adding a second one.

For FBRs, should I use a primer/base? I've been looking at white gesso, but I'm not sure if that's what I should be using.
I use white gesso. You don't have to use a primer but I like the extra tooth it gives so I always recommend it.
Do you thin your gesso at all, or do you use it straight from the tube?

My goal when I first started collecting was to get all of the Big Bros. They're just so dang cute! I have all of them as well as two of Chief and Tex <3. All of them, except for Slugger, were purchased from Arena members.
Chief was the HARDEST to find! When I would find him in sale lots, he was always one of the first to go. My first Chief took a while to get and I don't remember why. The second one was being sold by someone who was very tentative about letting him go and they wanted a fairly rare G4 as a trade. I think that whole exchange took about a month, but everything worked out. One has a perfect body and faded, frizzy hair. The other has a discolored body and perfect hair.
I think I ended up with two of Tex because I was in the middle of a transaction with someone for him and someone I had messaged a while back got back with me about him. Didn't wanna be rude and say no, so...I got two. ^^'

Was part of the fandom for the original run of the first four seasons. Recently got back into it with the hubby and he told me that 4th Dimension Entertainment released show-accurate plushies at one point. Of course, with Hasbro being Hasbro, they yelled at 4DE and they stopped making them. My hubby managed to find himself a Dash and a Twilight (the Dash plush is ABSOLUTELY precious!), but what I'm wanting to know is: 1) How rare are these plushies now? 2) What characters did they make other than Dash, Twilight, and Fluttershy? 3) What's the best place to try and find these? Thanks in advance!

i buy from dollplanet right now, since dollyhair is so bunk. i think diana makes such beautiful blends and her color selection is soooo beautiful! i also really like how she offers "bundles" in a color family, like small hanks of all the greens, etc.
YES I JUST FOUND HER SHOP EARLIER TODAY! I love that her shop is pretty much a one stop shop. :3. Will more than likely be ordering from there!
