Cleaning pony hair
« on: September 20, 2014, 01:59:07 PM »
So, as some of you may have noticed, I'm going through my childhood G1 ponies and cleaning them up.
I've run into a problem: baby Glory has something sticky in her tail, and I don't know how to get it out. I've tried shampoo, conditioner and dish washing liquid - it doesn't get much better.

Any ideas of what else I could try?

Thank you in advance!

Perhaps soaking her hair in Oxyclean might get it off?

Thanks Whippycorn, now I just need to find out what the Swedish equivalent to Oxyclean is - what is Oxyclean usually used for?  :frog:

Baby oil is pretty good as well for getting things off of a nylon surface :)

Oxyclean I think is usually used for stain removal on clothing. I've never tried the baby oil, sounds like a good idea!
