Trickles new makeover!

Years ago (around 88) I got a manky second hand Trickles as a gift, she is special to me since she's my first Hasbro pony

As when I was a small child we couldn't afford original Hasbro ponies so I got fakies instead, when Trickles came she was welcomed even if she was in poor condition, after that like 4 years later I got some other decent  ponies but  I still desided to keep Trickles

The poor gal was in a rough shape, compleatly dry  stiff hair, nibble bites,  symbols so rubbed that were barely  there, she even had a rusted mess inside

I wanted to give her a new life, since lately she was looking depressed being along wit my good condition  ponies, mostly BNG Bouquet and her perfect hair lol

So now that I have confidence in restoring ponies I desided to give her a full makeover, I didn't want to make her like her original colors since she's special to me she had to be unique from the other Trickles

 I went wit tropical colors, inspired in fruits like the pinneapple, I used DH golden godess, yellow fever and poly frivolous

wow I like your colors she looks so different. I wouldnt of recognized her at all. She looks like a nice restore. :)

Oh my, she was in pretty poor condition when you got her. She looks really good now though! I'm glad you were able to make your childhood pony beautiful again.  :)

Thanks everyone, is amazing what just doing few things like good cleaning, rehair and symbol painting can do for an old manky pony  :lol:

I remember from years ago when I found out the ID sites for ponies, she was really hard to ID mostly because her  symbols were nearly gone, when  I first found  pictures of minty Trickles  I was surpriced to see how she was suposed  to look

Is never too late to restore a pony, it feels so great to give them a second chance  ^.^

She looks fantastic! What a great colour combination. Wow that is one of the rustiest tail washers I have ever seen. Congrats on great work - Trickles certainly looks loved!

Yeah that rust most lickely happened since here were I'm located the heat can go up 40c when is very hot >_< besides the high humity
