There is a limit of 1 per customer- but it really is just one per transaction.  Once you finish one transaction you can buy another set if you wanted...

Normally- I would expect that the ponies would sell out fast.  However-  TRU probably knows from last year that these characters will sell like gangbusters, so maybe they were smart and ordered more.

If they do sell out- I'm SURE they will be back eventually, much like the first favorites set and Zecora- who just kept coming back.

Yes I agree with Galatica, if the sheer volume of last year's are anything to go by I would not worry about them selling out. But I also agree with others to buy earlier rather than later; as no doubt the popularity of the product will simply inflate the price over time.
