Hey Y'all!

I've been looking forward to using one of these Glow-In-The-Dark HQG1C Unicorns and have just completed my first. Hope you like her. More images on my Etsy and eBay pages.

Absolutely beautiful work! I especially love the way that you used the 3D stars as part of the symbol.

Amazing job! How much time do these take? I would imagine they take over a week with details and stuff.

They take a lot of patience, haven't been able to calculate an exact time as I'm usually working on several ponies at a time. It's a multiple step process, starting with rooting, then boil perm (takes about a solid week for dry time) then airbrush work, sculpting (including cure time for the appoxie sculpt), and finally painting the sculpted areas and eyes, (lots of layers and dry time in between each layer) and can't forget adding all the sparkly rhinestones.

I love all your MGR customs, but this might be your best one yet (though the red/green one is very high up there too). I've been wondering, what do you use to paint the interior of the "saddle" part? It looks too shimmery to be acrylics.

The saddle is airbrushed using a custom blend of acrylics

This custom is a beautiful example of your fantastic eye for detail and balance! There's a lot going on but the design doesn't look busy at all, everything has its place. I really love the saddle design with the shooting stars and the perfectly placed rhinestones.
