(photos)Lundby Dollhouses...anyone know anything?
« on: August 06, 2015, 12:42:31 PM »
I'm helping a friend to get rid of stuff from her apartment and she wanted me to try to sell her Lundby Dollhouse because both her and me knows there are collectors out there. However, we have no clue about what Lundby dollhouses and items are worth and where to sell it. Do I sell it in a forum for collectors? On auctionsites?
So yeah, first off we need to identify and price check.

I'm out of my depths here, so any help is very much appreciated xD

Here is what she has. It's from when she was a kid in the early 1970's.

I have no ideal on value. I just love those doll houses like that. There is such uniqueness with them.

I'm sure someone here can help or point you in the right direction. Either way good luck.

I can only echo Swordpony; I know nothing about them either but I do love the nostalgic feel to doll houses such as that!!

Here's hoping that a knowledgeable individual will come along with some good info on value and where to sell!! :)

eBay is your friend on this one. MOST dollhouses start bidding wars there. Empty Lundby's go for 40$-50$ and dollhouse furniture lots are just as sought after. Package this as one lot, try to keep the shipping as inexpensive as you can, and watch it go anywhere from 60$-120$ depending on which buyers are looking. Make sure Lundby, Furntiure, and Family are in the search terms.. Take pictures of it empty, and set up. Bright beautiful pictures are your friend.

Thanks! I have a mail conversation with a woman who is a collector and she's helping me now :)
