The Dollhouse / Re: Rainbow High?
« Last post by Ponyfan on Yesterday at 03:04:33 AM »
I'm starting to wonder if some places got Brianna, the pink slumber party doll while others got Marissa, the gold one.  I'm not sure if I ever saw Marissa in stores (If I did it was only once) but I saw a few Briannas and a lot of Robins.

I really wanted Lily Cheng but she's out of my price range. :(

Pony Corral / World's Biggest Tea Party Aftermath?
« Last post by paradiserain on Yesterday at 03:01:27 AM »
Hi friends!

So I was watching the World's Biggest Tea Party this evening on YouTube. I've always loved this show, I went to see it as a little girl in 2007 and it definitely created a core memory in my mind lol. People can have their own opinions about the production quality, sets, songs, costume designs, they're creepy, they're cool, stupid, cute, whatever. I loved it and it's super nostalgic to me.

Anyway, it dawned on me that I have no idea what happened to the pony puppets after the show closed in 2008. I tried looking on the MLP Wiki and didn't really find anything besides a few backstage pics. Were the costumes just shoved into a Hasbro warehouse somewhere or were they dismantled and scattered, or did they get sold/auctioned off to collectors? I'm a bit of a theatre geek so this sort of stuff intrigues me. Same with the sets, did they just get put away somewhere and forgotten or were they reused or sold or something?

Just really curious! Would love to get some info on it if anyone knows anything.

Holy cow, I saw this ad for the first time earlier this week on Tumblr. Those ponies are just absolutely gorgeous. So happy they went to good collectors who actually treasure them and they weren't just left to rot.  :hearts:

They look so professionally done! I'm not sure which I like more. They are both gorgeous. Great job on your first customs!

I love Real Nightlight, she reminds me of the northern lights. Such a cool pony with the contrast of the body and the hair.
Pony Corral / Re: Will anything happen if I don\'t remove tail rust?

If you can easily turn the head left and right then you can take the head on and off without too much risk of damaging the pony. If the pony head is glued on solid, then you would be in for a fight and a much higher risk of damaging the pony.

I would definitely replace the washer if the pony head comes off easy. If it's glued on and not moving and the tail is only a little bit rusty maybe leave it alone and keep it dry. Revisit the issue if the rust visibly seems to be getting worse.
