Unicorn Bowtie??

She is from peru. The peru fact files tell a story of how bowtie became a unicorn.
Apparently she admired her best friend Glory. And for her birthday a magical thing happened.
She was transformed into a unicorn. She loved her presents the other ponies got her but most of all was so proud of her new appearance.

You see, I always thought it was odd that Unicorn Bowtie was even called Bowtie because she's a unicorn and her bows look much more like Ribbons' symbol to me so I would have thought they'd have called her Ribbon lol

LOL - this for me to. I have always assumed she was a bit of a Ribbon/Bow Tie hybrid with one contributing body and mane colour, one contributing the pony type and them then combining the symbols. Thats very cool to finally have an explanation and some background.

Maybe unicorn Bowtie is actually Bowtie Sr, and Bowtie and Ribbon are her daughters.

Her price can be all over the place because she she is so prone to issues especially general body colour fading and of course hair colour fading. So if you dont mind one with some issues you will get it low enough but if you want a minty one then she can get very high. But for a nice one, with some faded hair but still pink and no major issues $160-180 probably.

Wow, Bow Tie is my favourite G1 pony and I adore the Gusty pose (reminds me of Arabians).

She is so gorgeous in the Gusty pose and lovely to hear there is a proper story behind for this, not just a manufacturing decision.  Maybe one day I'll be lucky to have her in my collection.
