Title: Finally Completed G1 Nursing Ponies Set! Happy Nurses Week!
Post by: starstrider on May 13, 2018, 11:11:48 PM: I'm so excited! :D I've been trying to complete this set forever, but Nurse Tenderheart has been impossible to find. Normally I source my ponies from eBay, but I've never seen her come up for sale. Luckily one came up on Facebook of all places, and I pounced! I'm so thrilled to have the full set - the timing is perfect as it's International Nurses Week, too! I'm an RN, so nursing themed anything is close to my heart. I think they're such a sweet trio.

I have however given up all hope of owning original caps, they just go for the most insane amount of money for an accessory. Thankfully the wonderful Shelves of Whimsy has neat repro hats which are 3D printed, and they're perfect! ^.^

They all just look so darling with their little repro hats! Kudos to shelves of whimsy for making them, they look very well done. They’re just so cute! My heart can’t take it!

I had Tenderheart with hat as a kid. I remember finding my old box of ponies in my parent's loft (attic) when I was 14 and was playing with the hat and Tenderheart and reminiscing...a month later my Mum sold all my ponies at a car boot. I was devastated!! I would give anything to have that nurse hat now! :cry: So the nurse ponies have a bittersweet place in my heart :heart:
