hmmmmm what makes my collection unique?

well, I have the one and only Tuneful (for me, lol). and he's probably the only one with this hair do. and he's one of the few that's considered a guy as far as I know.
He was my first pony :)
(and no, he doesn't have a tail)

plus this huge (full body, but he's hidden behing the pony shelf) sign that Da made for my graduation '10. :D

and perhaps not too unique, but I'm quite in love with my Lemon Drop army.
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

they're 2 hooves HKx3, 4 hooves HKx2, China x2, talian AB eyes, Greek (and a greek sister on her way). + dollymix, spanish baby, a little polymer clay pudgie by Alrak and a lovely sculpted laying down baby  by HipsterDerpy (and rayechu had a hoof in it I believe?)

Also, I have this G3 signed by Derek Jacobi :> (thanks Charmer and Aflame!)

Uhm, I specifically collect baity G1s? Not sure how unique that is. But by "baity" I mean TRULY baity, not this "baity" I keep seeing (protip: messy hair, a dirty body, and a tiny hair trim does NOT make a pony bait). I LOVE G1s without tails and with hair cuts! I don't mind cancer or rust stains, paint rub or scratches (except for eyes, to a point I can accept it). I've also got a Sundance army I plan to do a lot with once I have the funds.

This is my favorite pony, and one of my first. He has no tail, a very off tail hole, lots of cancer/rust stains, and symbol rub. :)

I don't really have a lot of ponies that would make my collection unique.
There's really only three I can think of off hand.

The first is a Custom Newborn Baby Lemon drop my mom bought for me a few years ago off ebay.

The second is a G3 pony in the wrong box. (Which I don't think is too special, but it is uncommon, I think? I'm not really sure.  ^^; ) It's Amazing Grace, in a box labeled Sunny Sparkle.

And third is most, if not all of my G3s who came with tinsel in their hair, don't anymore in my collection. I was kind of big on de-tinseling a few years ago, since tinsel did nothing but get on my nerves when I tried styling their hair. Plus to me, it just looks better.

Well I don't have a huge amount and fewer unique ponies, but this is a pony that my 2 year old son painted for me, so it is very unique and special, and of course my wonderful Tribble Pony that Megt19 made for me in a swap...

What makes my collection unique?
hm... it has t be...me! XP
Or the fact that I've never met another collection who keep a specific number of ponies ;) If I have to many, I have to sell some off! XP It keeps the collecting interresting and a bit of a challenge for me :)

As for ponies..I think my most special one is the Oh-so-wonderful-mint-condition Windsweeper I found at a second-hand shop for about $4

Awesome pics, everyone!  :)

I don't know if my collection is particularly unique, but I don't think a lot of people have her with hair this bright:
(and she's a thrift store find to boot.)

My collection isn't all that unique, except for my ponies being loved and treated as their own family, of course. :)

It would have to be this pretty girl :) I have some more special ponies, but she's a part of my childhood herd, when she was actually the shy, overlooked girl, but always one of my favs. Here is my Reverse Baby Candy aka Aleksandra:

I'm pretty sure I'm one of few that has made a custom Knight Shade...
visitors can't see pics , please register or login

That is ADORABLE. :D I love him! I thought about making a custom Knight Shade, but that's better than I'd probably be able to do!

As for my collection... hm! My collection is pretty young so there's not much uniqueness going for other than the sheer fact that it's my collection.

So, it's not much, but due to finding a Sew and So with a severe haircut and the need to style it instead of rehair, I have a Sew and So with attitude!

And I'm sure there aren't many Bowties with their hair styled like this! It was an accident but I thought it was so adorable that I kept it this way.
