I can barely squeak out a note. I have tried a million a times though, always thinking maybe today is the day. But nope  :(

I love to whistle! Especially since my younger siblings really suck at it.... I can whistle tunes, whistle loudly, mimic birds, mimic crickets, I can even do this crazy whistle where I do some weird muscle movements with my tongue and throat and sort of copy the sound helicopters make!! It's lots of fun!

I kinda thought it was just something you learned how to do eventually. I can't do the "whistling between your fingers" thing though.

I can whistle loudly (very handy when whistling for the horses to come up from the bottom of the pasture!) and a tune.

Guns n' Roses 'Patience' is a great song to whistle along to. Helped me heaps to develop melody....
Depends on how dry my mouth is to how loud I can whistle. So I voted "can whistle a tune but not loudly". Never really been able to do the astonishingly loud ones however.

I can do both but it took longer to learn to whistle with my fingers! My youngest can just get a note out now, but my niece can really belt out tunes! I wonder if Hulalei can whistle? I'll have to ask her when she gets home tonight!

I had a red one as a kid, and I bought one at dollar general a few months ago just because I was like "I had one like this!!" lol.

I've been able to whistle since I was a kid, despite the adage I had quoted at me, "A whistlin' woman and a crowing hen; both will come to no good end." 'Cause, sure, that makes sense. I am still trying to learn that sharp, super-loud, "y'all get home right now!" whistle.

If you see me wandering around whistling to myself, though, it probably means I'm super stressed.

I have a really loud really sharp whistle.
hehe it comes from growing up on a farm.. Thats how we train our hearding dogs.. So you have to be able to do it REALLY loud so the critters can hear you.
Now loki isnt a hearding dog (new puppy) but hes trained to come when i whistle its cute.

I can whistle somewhat loudly and I can do tunes, but not the totally awesome kind! I wish I could whistle with my fingers!!! I just can't get it! My boyfriend just blows air. XD

(I can snap both fingers too. I taught my friend how to snap just one a few years back!)

I used to be able to whistle very well when I was little due to a huge gap in my front teeth. Now that it's been fixed with braces I can't whistle too well.
