Lego Minifigure Collectors?

I already had a Fairy and a Cheerleader,but I found them on clearance today at walmart,bought 4 bags... 1 Cowgirl and 3 Djs.....Is there a way to tell? Is there a code system like on the MLP Bags?

No, unfortunately there is no way to distinguish within a batch. Every item has the same item number, barcode, etc. I think the batch number stamped in the bottom of the bag is unique to each batch but those are batches of 30 or 60 I think.

The secret is to squeeze around in the bag and see if you can identify the parts within it so you know which one you're getting.

My boyfriend's work got series 10 in stock and he found a bunch of ones that I wanted including Medusa!  She is really impressive!  He said that out of the whole box there were only two!

And since medusa has a two sided face I kinda want another.  Just got her and the sea captain at kmart.  Medusa has the puffest bag so she was an easy feel and found the sea captains hat pretty quickly so I was happy and didn't spend too much time.  There were two full endcap displays and I am pretty sure I felt two or three other medusas.

I have TONS of these, but I never try for completion because it's just too frustrating.  Rather, I'll go to TRU for something else, and grab a couple.

My walmart has series 8, I have the fairy, cheerleader ,Dj,and cowgirl as I said earlier..and since the only method to find what you have is touch and squeeze. what should I feel for if i want the bat? are the wings hard? is the Alien hard to find? What about Shakespeare?

I got Shakespeare in one of my 1st series 8 sets.

I'm surprised you still have them around, Shadowdreamer.  Lego Stores and TRU are up to series 10 now.  And to make things even more annoying for completionists, they've added in a gold minifigure that's uber-rare.

  oh dear! I am behind!! They have them for clearance at walmart for 2 dollars a pack, so was thinking of getting a few packs, and the Bat, Shakespeare, Alien, and  the knight are the ones I want the most. Last time I bought any I got 1 cowgirl and 3 Djs.

I got another medusa and added the little grey statues from the LotR weathertop set to give her some accessories and the sea captain is really cool.

I love the Minifigs, but I don't have any...  I love Lego in general.   I just haven't had the money to be buying any of it, and when I have the money, it ends up elsewhere.

Ugh I want the Marilyn one so bad. I am on vacation until Monday so I cannot post pics of what I have but I do have 2 tomahawk warriors and a sky diver if anyone wants them.
