I don't collect many G3s...even when I was much heavier into collecting, my focus has always been on reclaiming my 80s and 90s childhood through G1 love. But I've been wanting this girl since she was first given out at SDCC 2007 and I finally, FINALLY found her at a price I was willing to pay! I'm so happy. She's so great. Oh wow, thanks for sharing!! Those Dr. Seuss ponies are FABULOUS (I come from the birthplace of Dr. Deuss and have big appreciation for the man!), and OMG the Anne of Green Gables custom! *HEARTEYES* Roogna, I definitely agree that it can't hurt to ask. One thing I always love about books is how differently readers may see a certain character. Typically though, the books I'm most in love with and want characters from aren't ones I expect people to be familiar with at all, so I try to pay particular attention to details I can provide an artist with. I'm going to try and be braver about asking in the future! I'm hoping to start a whole collection of these guys to keep my library company.

My favorite customs always seem to be the ones that come from books characters, but there aren't many of them that I've seen. It's hard, because whenever I want a commission, I always want to ask for favorite book characters but how do you ask for something that the artist has probably never read?  (I recently worked up the courage to get past that and ask for one anyway and I'm pretty psyched about it but STILL, it's an issue!) ANYWAY I haven't been around in a long time...I'd love to see any cool book characters who have been given new life as ponies! Anyone have any to share?

Hi everyone! I'm a 30-something Massachusetts native who recently moved to Pennsylvania and returned to school. Feeling out of my depth in about a hundred different ways, and with a new friend who's got a pony collection of her own and is a terrible enabler, I suddenly found myself hopping onto this forum again for the first time in probably over a decade. WHOOPS! I'm starting my collection over from scratch, which is a little daunting after selling everything I had to pay off debt and tuition the first time I went to college, but I'm excited about it too! I'm mainly a G1 girl, child of the 80s/90s and all that, but I have a lot of love for the newer gens as well. We'll see if that translates into collecting ALL OF THE THINGS; right now I'm just focused on reclaiming one favorite set at a time. It's nice to be back! Hope to see everybody around the message boards.

Unfortunately you're probably right about the shipping costs being too much for one pony, but for curiosity sake, what's the total you'd be looking for on Little Flitter?
