hes finished and JUST in time for Halloween too! .
Jason was a commission  and is to accompany  the last g3  Freddy Krueger pony I had made (also a commission)

this one was a long time in the making.
he's a reposed RD  sculpted with apoxy sculpt.
painted with acrylics and sealed with liquitex  matte and gloss varnishes.

originally I had wanted to make it so his mask was removable but   it kept scraping the paint so decided to leave it as a permanent feature.

the hoof folding his  machete is magnetized ,i incorporated a few nails into the  handle of the machete so it would be easy to   place and remove.

I did try to weight down his  hind legs as best I could  but he was still too top heavy so  i had to make a little stand / prop for him  so he wouldn't fall over

one eye was painted over with several layers of matte medium to give it  that  'bung' look .

Love the pose and mask! The blood splatter is great too. Looks like you did a lot of hard work, and it turned out nice!

the  knife  handle has a  small nail in it , and there is a magnet implanted in his hoof.
the knife is made with apoxy sculpt like the rest of his sculpt work.

I haven't taken on such an ambitious project in a long time,
I did try a lto of new things when working on him and also learnt  a lot of new things too!
I was starting to loose interest in finishing him towards the end as it was such a long  and drawn out  process  but  I got there  in the end.
