Wow, lotsa businesses are trying to make a comeback. It doesn't affect me, being on the west coast and all, but hooray!
Would it be too much to hope that Walden Books might someday return?

Oh cool! I have fond memories of going to FAO Schwarz as a kid, I was sad to see them go. Too bad I'm in the middle of the US so not anywhere near any planned stores. But who knows, maybe if they are successful there will be more in the future. I'd love to be able to shop there again, especially with TRU being gone. Which is really sad, I have fun memories of there too.

Never heard of this store, but it looks like they're going to do a temporary visit to London, so I might try and check it out if so. Apparently Selfridges, which is very much central London and expensive and chaotic at Christmas, but I might get there anyway. It only said London, though...kind of surprised if they miss the Bull Ring Selfridges as that's pretty big too.
