Was I wrong for doing this?
« on: August 18, 2012, 09:34:08 AM »
I was just browsing ebay for so soft ponies, and I came across a listing for Wind Whistler that cought my eye. The reason it stuck out to me was because it wasn't Wind Whistler, it was Bouncy. The seller had it clearly listed as the wrong pony. Was it ok for me to contact them to let them know their mistake? Or was I being rude to do so?

As long as you say it nicely, I don't see anything wrong in doing it.
I took a break from the Arena from a couple months due to school and other things in my life. But I'm back now!

Sounds okay to me! I'd like to have the proper name on something, makes it more likely to sell. As long as you left out the customary 'YOU FOOL!'

I think you did them a favor by telling them :) They might not sell it under the wrong name so it was good you told them :)

I don't see how it would be rude to tell them that, as long as you were nice and respectful about it. :)
Thank you so much for the adoptable, Corona! :D

I think it helps out - thats nice of you :) Maybe the person didnt know or maybe they mislabelled - either way if someone is ebay searching for Bouncy at least now they will find this one as well :)

I think it is ALWAYS a good idea to correct a  mistake!
I have sometimes done the same thing.....using a template for example - in a hurry and you don't change the heading or something.
I am always please if someone corrects ME - especially if the buyer suddenly finds she has the wrong pony! That could be a whole lot of trouble!

Kindly:
"Hello I just wanna let you know that according to the thumbnail and picture, that you are showing a So-Soft Bouncy, instead of a So-Soft Wind Whistler as described in description and title. I just wanted to let you know so you can better describe it. So is it the So-Soft Bouncy (according to picture) or So-Soft Wind Whistler, just with the wrong picture? Thank you very much!"

Rudely:
"Hey are you trying to rip people off?! That is a So-Soft Bouncy, not a So-Soft Wind Whistler! You are clearly describing it wrong! Get your pony facts straight before listing a pony!"

Take a pick on em ;)
