I suppose we may never know if someone finds the Gold Loyal Subjects Pony. I imagine she'll never even be found and will instead languish in her box at the back of a stock room, perhaps forever.
I always thought it was pretty odd to release a ooak blind boxed figure in the first place.
Am I recalling correctly that the MLP Loyal Subjects line got cancelled and there will never be more waves released?

Why do they call them 'Loyal Subjects'?
Because that's the name of the company that made them. They make poseable, blind boxed, chibi-ish figures of beloved childhood properties.
Known lines are:
TMNT
Power Rangers
G.I Joe
He-Man
MLP
Street Fighters
Mega Man
Thunder Cats
Kingdom Hearts
I have figures from MLP and Mega Man and am searching for Thunder Cats. To my limited knowledge, MLP seems to be the first girls line they've ever done.
The proportions are a little...odd but rather cute.
I would be okay if they did girls properties like SSC and Rainbowbrite.
And some neutral properties like Fraggle Rock and Teddy Ruxpin.

Yeah, I heard Firefly had been found. Were there any more gold ponies?
I wouldn't say the line was cancelled, more that they only released one wave. But that wave did run its course AFAIK. My faves are Glory, Minty, and Applejack.

The glittery ponies are so pretty. I had no idea they made glittery Firefly or Applejack.

I wouldn't mind. I asked them if they would ever consider it. They always seem happy to hear from people who enjoy their products and they say they'd take suggestions into consideration.
I may have mentioned how gaga we'd go for Mountain Boys. :devious:

I also heard that gold Firefly was found. I had terrible luck with these. I ended up with 5 regular Fireflys and never found the unicorn ponies, ( I had to buy them from a seller here) The only special one I got from the boxes was Glow in the Dark Applejack. I got pearly and glittery Lickety Split when Hot Topic sold them online. I even bought my friend some as a gift and she got two Fireflys.
I wanted to love these so much but always getting Firefly was really annoying and no one wanted Firefly.

I never saw them in-store and they were WAY too overpriced for a blind bag figure IMHO

They seemed overpriced, but I was lucky to find them on clearance at Marshalls. Finally got a pony other than Princess Sparkle or Glory on that run.

I counted mine. Here’s what I ended up with just from the blind boxes
5 Fireflys
3 Applejacks (1 glow in the dark)
2 Sundances
Ponyfan

I like these little guys a lot, I still have a row of them on the pony shelf. Out of trying to complete the regular set of 6, I ended up buying 13 blind boxes and ending up with six doubles (I pulled one of each pony plus the least-rare 1/24 Snuzzle for a total of 7 keepers). It doesn’t feel too good to buy them for $15-20 and get ponies I don’t need though :| blind boxes I feel are a really poor choice for G1 MLP... I never even tried selling my doubles because there was such low demand. I have an extra Sundance, Applejack, Minty and three!!! Fireflies. Seems like the Pinkie Pie of G1 :P

They were just too expensive to be a blind buy product.
I refused to get any of them because of the distribution method. LS could have at least offered a collector's set of all of them at a premium price or something. I hate random toys where you can get doubles, it's such a waste of money.
