I wouldn't worry about a Skullector focus because Skullector is the thing they need for the MH Club. The Hocus Pocus dolls are more widely available just like the Wednesday dolls and the Amazon dolls (Stitched in Style Frankie, Ghoulebrity line). All of those dolls are using the G1 bodies so I understand there is some confusion.
Speaking of Skullector, we've got some leaks for Skullector 2025!

Edit: I can't link the screenshots right now but the G3 show director answered a couple questions on her socials and said there are certain G1 characters that will never make it to G3. She didn't specify but some people guessed Jackson Jekyll due to copyright issues and I wonder what other characters they don't want to make a return and why? So far we haven't seen a single unique G3-only doll character. Unlike G2 which at the very least introduced a couple during its short run.

Spoiler - I do love seeing Headless Headmistress Bloodgood acknowledged! I just love her punny name and nature, and her hatchet earrings are a super-nice touch. Plus it's nice seeing a fictional headmaster/mistress who is 100% for their students no matter what, with all the 'villainous' ones you see in media
- HEXICAH STEAM IS MENTIONED AND SHOWN! Yay!
- Not gonna lie, I love 'Professor Frankenstein' (Frankie's dad, Frankenstein's Monster) studying his daughter and the comic having the nerve to outright show her exposed brain.
- CLAWDEEN AND TORALEI SHIPPING IN HERE AS WELL??? Oh hex that, that's so stupid
- Clawdeen's parents splitting up? Good lord
- Cleo accusing Clawdeen of trying to steal DEUCE of all Monsters?!?!?!?! I'd sooner believe she's accusing Frankie of that again than CLAWDEEN. Who keeps trying to throw these love twists in, they're so stupid
- If Count Dracula is dead (how and why is he dead?) why is it his 1600 year old daughter is running things? Make sense plz
- Oh come ON now, Cleo hanging out with the WERECAT TWINS?! Who is writing this and what are they doing, this is so bad
- The art is really nice, Frankie is so upbeat and I do love her dad being shown and having strengths to him. 'Goona is shown and has lines, no Ghoulia at all
- Blond normie alert for Lala's love interest, again for some reason, when mentioning new 'claws' to revive the long-forgotten normie-vs-Monster thing
Thanks for the recap! I still haven't gotten mine, I really just want them for the art at this point. It's almost like these authors want to double down on G1 movies and their romance problems. Clawdeen "stealing" Deuce has some validity since it was implied in the early G1 diaries that she went on a date with Deuce and briefly was his gf. But I could also misremember this, I need to read up on it again. I guess G1 Deuce just loves strong girls who boss him around and Cleo feels threatened?  Of course I have no clue if Clawdeen is still being written as the self-assured gogetter. In other news, the G3 cartoon has not been renewed. Most likely because of the Nickelodeon/Paramount+ beef. One of the voice actresses confirmed on her socials that a third season hasn't been ordered. I wonder if it's over after that and a soft relaunch will happen in connection to the new liveaction movie.

Maybe a bit of an inflammatory remark but do you think Hasbro even cares about MLP to a point they would reboot it again into a sixth gen? At this point I don't. I see a lot of new G4 merch popping up and getting popular on the Asian market. More G4 brand deals and a bit of G1 nostalgia. As of right now it looks like G5 will die to make way for nostalgia bait, mostly G4, and this is how MLP will be kept alive and milked. I still think connecting G5 to G4 was a mistake. They tried to attract old and new fangroups alike and it folded real quick. The best that came out of G5 was right at the beginning with the new theatrical release. The movie had the most money put into and had lots of marketing. Afterwards it quickly went downhill. If they ever attempt a Gen 6 I hope it will stand on its own again and not be tied to previous MLP stories. Save for keeping a couple names, of course, for branding reasons. If you go into the old G5 speculation threads, some of the users here had amazing ideas. Maybe Hasbro should have just lurked here

Same! And all my questions and critiques aside, I'd rather see new stuff than no stuff. The idea of a G1-verse comicbook geared towards older fans is a good one, I don't want them to mess it up. As far as we know, IDW ordered a 10 issue run and I'd like to see it completed. The one thing I just hate is Draculaura dating a human boy now and it's all about "monsters and humans can't be together, wah". They better break them up again, it does nothing. Their relationship is just starcrossed lovers again, we've had plenty of that in G1 already.

Alien Romulus!!! 9/10
Such a beautiful love letter to the previous movies without being lazy. Very tense, and new WTH moments in the third act that really puts "alien" back in Alien.
Sounds promising. I love the original Alien and hated what the franchise had become. Maybe I'll give it a chance after all. Long time since I posted here. I recently saw "Abigail", I'll give it a 7/10. Very enjoyable, only a bit surprising since the premise is being given away in the trailer, but overall a fun and gorey vampire flick for people who don't want to see female victims all the time. Some solid acting but not by everyone, the kid was great!

So, there is rumors based on e-mails sent out by comicbook shops that the G1 IDW comics have been cancelled. I have to say I am sadly not surprised. While the art is gorgeous, the plot and pairings drew a lot of negative feedback. These Monster High Foam Bag Clips popped up on Entertainment Earth. First thing's first; WHERE IS CLAWDEEN??? AND CLEO?????? I'm absolutely shocked they're not there! I absolutely would be interested in a Catty, but I'd need to see the final version
Yeah, this is an odd/random assortment. Looks like they just went by characters they saw a lot in fanart or whatever.

I don't quite understand why the G1 Alumni releases get these big saucer eyes. It's been an issue for a while now. Don't they understand that the original collectors liked the sultry eyes? I think the backlash to Operetta was so extreme they should have learned from it and adjusted the screening just a tad.

Cleo and Nefera Mummy Majesties: I was so hyped for these and now I don't really care anymore. They are looking rather unfinished to me. Nefera might be worth it for the doll alone but Cleo is an afterthought. I was expecting more. Good for me there is still the Howliday Cleo on the horizon so my wallet won't catch a Cleo break Also new Halloween comics announced! There will be an Elvira cameo in one of them. I actually like that, it helps integrate the Skullectors into the G1 universe and Elvira and Halloween just go together perfectly. Edit: I also found this interesting news about the Garden Mysteries Skulltimate series on the MH wiki: Lagoona Blue was originally going to be a part of this line and would have been a Target exclusive, but was cut due to retailers looking at the Skulltimate Secrets brand's data and feeling that three dolls were the best number for this line. Despite this, there was a product number and barcode for Lagoona, and retailers were even able to order her. Lagoona is HYT73, which is in between Draculaura’s and Twyla’s product numbers. Looks like we'll be seeing less dolls in the "big hunk of plastic" series. I am pleased with this. Hopefully it means less core ghoul repetition but who am I kidding? The wiki also claimed that Deuce was supposed to be in it but was replaced by - guess who - Draculaura  The sources are the usual leakers on X so always take their info with a grain of salt but they've been correct most of the time.

I actually really like Wednesday herself, not so much Enid. The CAD prices are insane, I'm not interested Usually Europeans get a similar convertion rate, so I anticipate 50-60€ per doll. They are using the G1 bodies so I hope the fashion pack is still happening. I'd love to get a nice goth-y fit for one of my spare dolls. Skullector Wednesday and MOrticia are using the Little Sister and Big Sister so sadly they won't be able to wear the other Wednesday's outfits. There's also a leaked image in box of the upcoming Howliday Skelita: IMO, she's the best one so far.

Speaking of "can't see": at the very least these new Skulltimate boxes give you a small peek at the doll's face inside. You gotta look close but behind the grid/fencing/whatever you can see if the doll might be wonky or not.
This had been my biggest gripe with the old packaging, that there was no way to see the doll.
The Skulltimate 4 Cleo has silky brown hair and minimal blue, btw. She is beautiful but I hate that entire ballerina/popstar outfit so it's a no from me. Still, if I ever get the chance to just have the nude doll I'd grab her and redress her in Skulltimate 2's second outfit.

Praying for Bishoujo Clawdeen to not flash her panties (or any one of them)  Some of the MLP figures looked sus to me. Especially Celestia with her scoliosis pose. But I am kinda stoked to see them all. I am sure they are going to make all the core ghouls at least. Maybe with an additional Ghoulia. In other news, I finally got G3 Sig Venus. Our Smyths got three new ones in and one of them had a face I liked! She is without a doubt the best G3 design to me so far. Her body details are nice and I enjoy that she's a tall girl. A bean pole if you will But I had to give away her pet. That thing is not Chewlian. He's living at my friend's place now, next to some anime girls, lol. Better this than the trash can. I also disliked how his eyes were pixelated. The earlier pets had better faces.
