Removing Shining Armors Horn....

Will it leave a hole? I know it does on G1 ponies, but does it on G4's?

I haven't removed Shining Armor's horn specifically but I have removed a horn from the g4 Twilight as well as from the large pink talking Celestia and both of those did leave a hole behind that needed to be patched up.

I know the Fashion Style size one will... His horn is hollow.
