(not sure if this is appropriate for the art thread...will probably post actually drawings of her later on though)

I'm so excited about her!  What do you guys think?  I had the idea for her for a little while and I'm so happy I finally put her together :) (with help from generalzoi's pony maker at http://www.dolldivine.com/mlp-fim-pony-creator.php).

Pony Corral / Re: Do People Think You're Weird?
« on: July 31, 2013, 08:58:26 PM »
Hmm I really don't think I've ever gotten any sort of strange looks when buying ponies (I mean, I haven't really bought any as of late due to law school expenses haha).  I used to be kind of self concious about it but now I do it so rarely that when I AM getting ponies, I'm too happy about it to give a hoot what anyone around me thinks. :) The weirdest thing to happen to me buying ponies was when I left my ex alone in the aisle and another guy asked him if his sister (meaning me) was single. :P

Off Topic / Re: What religion are you?
« on: July 31, 2013, 08:50:00 PM »
This is so interesting, I love learning about religions :)

The past few years I've been thinking a lot about my faith and I think I've finally figured out what works for me.  I was raised Catholic (went to church all the time when I was a kid, had religion class regularly etc etc).  When I was a young teenager, my grandmother, my mother, and then my cousin passed away.  This led me and most of my family to believe more in the afterlife and spirits being able to communicate with us (FYI: my aunt was on an episode of Long Island Medium for those who watch it! I won't tell which one though :X).  I did have one visitation from my mother about two years after she passed and that has had a huge influence on my beliefs.  As a young adult, I began to lose faith so I tried to become more religious and build a stronger relationship with God if you will...it just didn't fit with me.  However, the attempt to become more religious definitely made me think a lot more about what I really did believe in.  I guess you could say I'm agnostic with catholic influences (love the saints! haha).  I believe that as humans we really can't comprehend what there is beyond what we can see.  I like to believe that there is a God or some sort of creator.  I believe in karma, reincarnation, spirits (animals included!) etc.  I believe that everything happens for a reason and that we're all on this earth to learn lessons and overcome obstacles.

I do love learning about other religions!  In particular, I love the ideas/traditions within Judaism, Hinduism, Buddhism and Sikhism.  I think everyone should have the freedom to believe whatever makes them happy and works for them.  I'm also very happy to see that everyone has been so kind on this thread and I hope it continues.  :good:

Pony Corral / Traveling with Ponies!
« on: July 23, 2013, 07:13:05 PM »
I'm going to Boston for a few days and I literally just thought, 'wouldn't it be fun to bring a pony with me?'  I quickly looked through my collection and I decided little miss Little Giggles would be perfect!

Ready to go!  :frolic:

Has anyone else done something like this or has a tradition of doing this?

By the way, yes I will post pictures of her at some historic sites.  :nerdy:

Pony Corral / Re: Displaying All Generations
« on: July 19, 2013, 12:37:07 PM »

P.S. I love your username!  Beagles are my fave, too.  ^.^

Thanks!  Well shih-poos are also my favorite but I didn't have one when I first joined haha

Oh what a cute idea! I'm working on getting all of my ponies displayed by color, so it's like a rainbow. :)  But then I'm also separating out all Princess and royal ponies.

I love the rainbow idea!  I may do something like that as well!

Everyone has said great things so I'm basically going to second them!  Low-carb/low-sugar is the way to go!  Also cutting out processed foods and going for organic meats when you can is amazing.  Good snacks are always veggies and nuts (almonds and walnuts are my favorites :) ).
