I would go back the very bare minimum of 40 years I think. I'm personally very attached to heating, plumbing, cooking appliances and TV, so I'd be hopeless in the past!! I find certin periods of history very interesting, but I wouldn't want to live through them!

Page TWO?  No.  :bump:

Baggins, a photo check in just means you take pics of what you've done so far and show the moderator.  C:

OK question...  Tell me about your favorite candies!  Also kiddos and pets!

Thank you for the info, it's been forever since I was last in a swap!

Absolute favourite sweets would be Strawbs, those really waxy strawberry gummies, but I love all clear type gummies.

Odd question possibly, but what do I do for the photo check in?

Also, air drying clay was RUBBISH!! So I will have to bake my pony. Eep!!

Needle method here too. The reroot tool, frankly terrifies me (I hate ripped plugs) and as I can reroot most ponies in an hour anyway, I see no reason to swap.

I also lock/loop rehair, which looks like original hasbro rooting, but that takes me longer.

I hacked my bait apart days ago, only started re-assembling it tonight! The new sculpting stuff is air drying, thank goodness, I HATE putting ponies in the oven!

What about pony tools? A screwdriver coming from the hole? I know someone once put a soldering iron into a pony!!
Or a USB hub-if you can find one with a round case to the dock, just pop it in the hole ;)

--1. Is your list in order of what you want the most?- I can't actually remember, I don't think so though. I love all of the one I picked so whichever is fab
2. Do you mind symbol modification? -- I'd like to be able to recognise it as my symbol, but its doesn't have to be photographically perfect! When I've done Baggins, its quite simplified and stylised ;)

you guys are too funny XD

I am probably just in the habit of sketching from costume designing, it's very, very expensive to screw up a costume so sketching is a must :D lots of people don't sketch :)
I don'y sketch when costuming either!! Just completed my first quad suit, that WOULD have been expensive to mess up!! Turned out awesome though, and was a big hit at the convention at the weekend! ;)

Am I the only person who DOESN'T sketch out my ideas before I do them? I just have images in my head and run with them!

I have picked which of my parters ideas I want to do, and I have a rough idea of how to execute it (well, a very specific idea actually, but I need to do some research to check it matches the actual time/subject!) and I'm rareing to go! My bait arrived yesterday, and my new sculpting stuff, very excited!

Only thing I can add is a warning with using acetone-I have had it melt the pony plasic before (it was a G3 Aloha Pearl, so don't know if her plastic is different somehow) when using it to try to remove glue, and ended up with the plug holed merging into massive holes! I did fill her head, so it might be ok if just using a dipped cotton bud, but to excercise caution!!

Will it leave a hole? I know it does on G1 ponies, but does it on G4's?

Thanks!

LOL! Totally the first time... Speaking Tardis... I think River Song and Captain Jack had the idea when it comes to the wrist gadget. Small and portable and you don't have to find a place to park it. ;)

You know, I was going to say TARDIS, but I think you're right. Small portable wrist thing would be my choice. That way you won't have to get back to it (or lose it, I just finished watching The Impossible Planet where the TARDIS falls down a crater).

Where wouldn't I want my pony to go? Hmmm....I'm not really sure. I guess 70s or 80s America would be on that list. Depression era too. I'm pretty much a fan of everything else, some just more than others.

Can't wait to see what time periods my partner picked!

But a Vortex Manipulator doesn't have a huge wardrobe, nor a swimming pool on the library ;)
TARDIS all the way!!

VERY excited to get my partner! I have a PM, so perhaps I have her already!! :D

EDIT_Yep! I have my partner, and I've started bait and supplies shopping!! I love all the periods my partner has chosen too, but I think I've picked one already, and I have a fab ides for the custom! This is going to be FUN!
