zomg im so exited!
just a few hous ago i got to pick my new girl eeeep! so happy
she is a leeke bought through Denverdoll, and theres a couple things that have cluless
could you help me?

maybe im wrong, but i herd that when they arrive they come with the elastic a little loose and you need to tight them.  but this girl has it supper tight, she even arrived with her torso head and limbs bented she looked like an S   is that ok? 

also she is filled with dirt spots!  her ankles are really dirty and its totally noticeable, she even had a big fingerprint over her eyebrow!! arghh!! and there seems to be a blue tiny spot on her arms, it looks almost like ink (for what i have seen on ponies) and theres another one on her foot.  how can i clean her D:??? is this normal?

also, i hearth that they can get stained pretty easy, do you think a leeke wig could damage her if not weargin a plastic cap? and what about the fabric of the clothes? should i use something super special or a good cotton will do the trick?

She has marks on her straight from DenverDoll? That is NOT good. You can try a damp magic eraser. But honestly I could contact them. She shouldn't have marks like that on her, especially not a brand new doll.

I would contact them too, a brand new doll is not supposed to be dirty like that!  The DDE staff are really nice, they'll help you.

Congratulations on getting your doll! . I wouldn't worry about the tight stringing, although if you want to loosen it, you can just leave her with her knees bent and it will loosen up naturally instead of re-stringing.

One word of warning - if your doll has a faceup, I'd try to wipe the mark on the eyebrow with water first - a magic eraser can damage the paint.

I had a slightly dirty doll come from Denver Doll as well - my understanding is that they keep some of them on display in their shop, so if your doll was in-stock rather than a pre-order, the that's probably what happened.  Although I also know a local collector who had a doll dirtied during the customs inspection, so that's another possibility.

ill keep in mind the stringing advice about the vented knees.
i was able to take the dirt of her face just with a little water
ill try the same with her feets.
maybe she got the dirt on custom, as she is a limited doll. :o
