I don't have anything super rare.  But I have Bay Breeze, Trolley, and the two Pony Project ponies (not the TAF on tho).  When the light is better I'll get pictures.

Ooooh what started it for me was the release of g3s.  Man I was so happy to see a MLP that looked somewhat similar to my beloved childhood G1s that I could buy in store.  Of course I didn't know about ebay to buy g1s before that.  I was an active collector until about 2007 (I started getting into collecting dolls and they kind of took over) and then g3.5 didn't really do anything for me.  I still want to get more G3 but I miss being able to go to stores and buy ponies.  I have a handful of G4s that I'll probably sell.  Don't care for the toys (which is a big thing for me to be able to collect) and I don't care for the show.  I tried watching it and I don't get the hype.  Oh well.

I had thought I would get back into collecting when I came back to the Arena, but the lack of interest in G4 and the dolls took over again I doubt I'll ever be that active in collecting again.  Unless G5 blows me away.

I would like to see ponies that look more pony like.  I'm ok with dolls if they do a better job with them.  I am a doll collecter and so far EGs has done nothing for me.  I don't like the molded clothes.

My phone is pretty basic because I am not that into phones or being glued to it 24/7.   I swear people are way too dependent on their phones.  Put them down and have a face to face conversation.  Anyway it's usually my mom or people wanting money calling so yeah rather not have a phone but I need it every now and then.

I do keep my phone by my bed and it used to be on but my mom did not seem to understand I work nights and do not like calls at 8am the next morning.  I go to bed at 2am some times.  8am is too early for me.  So yeah my phone is still by my bed but it is kept silent so I can try to get some sleep.

If I ever had kids (and not planning on it) that would be a big fat no.  Maybe if I hated my kids haha.  But yeah I don't like non human sounding names for people.  Pets sure. My dolls, sure.  Kids, no.  And also not a fan of Rarity as a name.  But your girlfriend hates the name, so yeah you probably won't win that battle.  Any name, even a middle name, should be agreeable for both parents.

I also don't like weird spellings, unless it's really obvious what their name is.  People are going to be forever tripping over how to say the kid's name.  Luckily I have a normal name, which I like, even tho I don't care for the nick names people who aren't familiar with me use.   I like my full name, thank you very much.

My sister shares a name with a popular Terminator character, however she was born before the movie came out.  She handles it well enough.

and it's made being a long-time collector awkward for me when people assume that I'm only into ponies because they're currently trendy.

Ugh yeah this!  The look and reaction a friend gave me when I told him about my ponies.  Hahah  I don't think he realized I've been collecting ponies before bronies (ugh hate that word).  Outside of the pony collecting world I guess the bronies get kind of a negative reaction.

G4, because of what it did to the community.
I wish we could go back to the days where pony collecting was an obscure little hobby off in a rarely travelled corner of the internet.

I realize this was a poll for ponies, but to me the visceral reaction to G4 is intertwined, part and parcel, and why I don't collect them. That and they look like ugly deer doesn't help either.

This is also part of my problem with G4.  The FiM fandom is so negative towards any other generation, they are kind of ruining G4 for me.  Seriously acting like FiM and Lauran Faust is god/best thing ever.  It's a kids' show that is ok, and that's about it.

She is lovely.  What's the going price on her now?

I'd love to have her some day... but the price tag might scare me haha.
