It's a huge pain D: I know a few people who have gotten away with selling them on Mercari if they list it as a collectible vs toy and it doesn't stay up for more than 24 hours. But even that's dicey. Makes it seriously hard to find them as well because they just don't pop up locally often. :/ So far my luck has been one that was chewed by a dog

The one time I did it, it was brutal. I used my fingernails and a toothbrush but I ended up breaking it up where I picked a part of the body to work on each day to work on. So I guess my best advice is to just break it up into sessions.

There are some types of plastics that will actually degrade when mixed with acetone. I've accidentally melted things before with it. I was able to smooth the areas out with a magic eraser afterwards and then switched to non-acetone remover for most things.

I'm about 99% sure the magnet is just glued into a little slot in the plastic. I think I recall seeing some where the magnet had fallen out. So I'd probably heat the head and pry it out.

Yeah I know there are a lot of collectors in the OMG facebook groups that have had dolls replaced so that might be a place to look if you're on there.

You might be able to find an OMG doll second hand that had a defect.
Like I'm not selling mine, but when I opened my SWAG her hair was melted together so I filed a claim and MGA replaced the doll.

I'm still collecting them. I managed to sell a bunch of my duplicates and now they've piled up again as well.

I was really gentle and careful with my toys when playing with them, but I was horrible about putting them away. 99% of the damage they sustained was because I didn't put them away properly and they got stepped on, scraped against something, or caught on something. Oh and then there were the ones I forgot outside/lost and found after the snow melted. But yeah I didn't like to share because I thought other kids would break or steal my stuff (which was honestly true with my step sister) but a lot of it also got lost or broken because I didn't put things away.

If you don't mind colorful (green/pink) streaks there's Happenin Hair Teresa.
Oh man she metaphorically reeks of the 90's, but yeah I'd be okay with her. Also I'm guessing Teresa is a re occuring character?
She is She comes up in a lot of sets. That's just the only set I remember having an articulated doll from in the 90s other than the ballet one you mentioned already and one that only had Barbie.

I am just seeing these and they are so adorable! Kinda remind me of a newer little pretties! The line originally was supposed to have ponies along with mommy baby sets, plushes and holiday sets (see end of article)but were discontinued before it happened. They were so lovely! How many sets of hairdorables pets are there and when did they release? http://mylittlewiki.org/wiki/Little_Pretty
Series 1 has 36 dolls Series 1 Pets has 24 pets and Series 2 has 26 dolls

I bought a series 2 doll today. I pulled Touring Skylar. But in the accessories I got 2 hair accessories and no shoes! Anybody else have this happen?

I've seen mispacking issues happen a few times (although I haven't gotten one). Normally in early production runs for series 1. I guess it would make sense that since series 2 is still ramping up stuff might happen?
