Great colors. I like how vibrant she is. The black contrasts nicely. Good job on her apron face too.

I’m digging the style you have going for Nettle! Very cool. I love a lime pony. :iconclap:

Wow, she really pops! A great first custom :D
It looks like your paint was maybe too thick. You can thin it with a little water for next time :)
-
thank you everyone! i did try to water it down but it didnt really mix with the paint like i had thought it would. not sure why

A really wonderfully colored and beautiful pony. :lovey:

As others have said, the color combo is really wonderful! FBRs are a challenge, but she looks great.

Great work! G4s are tough to customize, and I love the colors, and the mane/tail too!

She looks wonderful, I really like the colours and patterns you gave her!
Painting is a learning curve and so much can depend on the materials you use - the brand of paint, the quality and size of the brushes and so on. And sometimes even the bait. G4 are tough because their body and head are made of different types of material so the paint may adhere differently unless you use a primer. But you did well, I'm looking forward to your second custom! :lovey:

Ooh, she looks great! I love the color combo you used and you did a great job of rehairing. I can't do FBRs at all without an airbrush so you've done very well!

yeah the bait i used was chewed on by a dog or something so i had to fill in some gaps and redo the neck a little, it looks funky but thays okay :3

it turns out if you boil some water and put a wingless fantastic flutters in, you can remove the wing socket and get into the tail cavity :3

finally got around to cutting and styling her mane! when i first finished her i was soo nervous that i would mess her up haha!
i do think she looks much better, but the mane was too smooth! i had to use some clips to get it to stay on my rollers.
