I am so jealous.  I have no dolls and I don't foresee myself ever owning any, but she's been my grail since I first saw her last year sometime.

I know I wouldn't appreciate her like y'all do with your dolls.  I'd unbox her and dress her, take one picture and that'd be it.  She'd sit at the back of my display case full of custom ponies and never see the light of day ever again.

You might be surprised. I didn't think I'd do much with my dolls at first. Then I got a lot more into it lol. The more I get, the more I love them!

My dolls are all shelf babies. I very occasionally redress or take a new photo of them, but not much. I just like to look at them

My new dolly is apparently on a sightseeing trip. She went from the UK to San Francisco,  West Sacramento,  and Las Vegas. I'm hoping her next stop will be my house.

Woo, I got double dolly mail today.  A white Momocolor 29 Bonnie to go with my tan one,  and a Dollmore Catish Reaa from a trade.

Lately I have been thinking more and more about getting a BJD at some point.  Probably not for a while due to the price, but I've been thinking of choosing one so I can start saving up. 

I was wondering if you guys had any suggestions for a good first BJD?  From what I've noticed from looking at pictures and things, I prefer boy dolls, and like an "anime" sort of aesthetic.  I also don't want a really big doll, but not a super tiny one either.  Fantasy elements are okay, but I prefer when they are subtle, like just having pointy ears or whatever.  Also, not super duper expensive. 

If you guys have any suggestions let me know!  Thanks! 

Ps. All of your dolls are lovely!  I always look at this thread just to see the awesome pictures of them!
