Title: **Phoenix Flash** My First G4 Custom
Post by: Kaeldre on January 20, 2012, 08:03:51 PM: Well, my first G4, genderswap, AND my first FBR! :D And he's only my second custom.

The story behind this little guy:
He was a Christmas present for my boyfriend. My boyfriend is a fan of MLP: FiM and, a while ago, designed himself a pony-sona. Well, I was at a loss of what to get him for Christmas and I've always been a fan of home-made gifts, so I decided to sacrifice my G4 Rainbow Dash and bring his ponysona to life. I think this little guy took me about two weeks total and I'm SO HAPPY with how he came out! :D I was actually really sad to see him go when I gave him to my boyfriend.

Well, here he is. Phoenix Flash: The fox-coloured, tiger-striped pegasus pony!
Note: The ribbon is not part of his design. The glue on the neck seam oozed something awful and I had to hide it somehow. >>

Sweet, thanks! I've been nervous to do that with the (very few) customs I've made because I was afraid they wouldn't hold up as well with all their new paint. Phoenix Flash looks great though, so I have renewed confidence. :)

I love the design; your boyfriend must be really happy with his persona brought into life. The wings are my favourite part. ^^
