Tips for finding/caring for frozen dolls
« on: May 05, 2014, 03:30:42 PM »
So i am a HUGE fan of frozen and want some good quality dolls just because.
I think it's important to note that i don't do MIB but do take super good care of my stuff.
Where would I find the best quality (most movie accurate and doesn't shed hair easily)?
Also over a month long period my.cousins are letting me care for their anna doll and i wondered if there was anything impotant to note for cleaning/general care (especially the hair)
Edit:
Here are some pics of her:

Her hair is a bit messy since i took her braid out and redid it because there was some loose hair

Also only her cape is removable

we have that anna doll C: her hair has held up remarkably well, since the braids keep it from getting tangled. i would just watch out for the skirt; the waistband has a tendency to separate from the fabric after some time. but my 3-year-old daughter has had her almost half a year now and she's still in pretty good shape!

if price isn't an issue, the 17-inch ones from the disney store look like they're really nice quality, and their faces are the closest to the movie i've seen. you can also try a repaint of a less expensive doll if you're feeling confident n_n

I own Disney Store Elsa and Anna and they are gorgeous! They are pretty popular and tend to go for quite a lot though but If you ever get the chance I would buy them. Definitely worth the price I payed!

I would also recommend the disney store ones. If you keep the braid in, you shouldn't have any problems with the disney store hair. I only have anna though. If you ever stop by the disney store, ask an employee when they restock the frozen dolls. mine restocks every saturday morning. People line up at like 7:00 in the morning to get them even though they open at 9:00! it's funny...but they're reaaaalllly pretty. they're worth the $20.
