Today was a really good day for me. I was able to meet up with a good friend who was in town for the ComicCon, and spent a couple hours hanging out with her. Also bought some ponies off her, which I'll be adding to my collection and sending out. But after I walked her back to the Con, I head to the TRU in Times Square. I go there to get a few blind bags since they still had some ser1 bags. As I'm checking for the ones I need (yeah I know the codes), this one girl who's maybe 14 or 15 starts feeling through the bags obviously looking for a specific pony. I overhear she is a huge Pinkie Pie fan as she talks to her family. So I tell her about the codes and help her look through them. There is one #22: the special edition Pinkie Pie. She looked a little unsure of it, so I bought it for her myself. After I paid for it I opened it up and dumped it into her hand.I was right. She and her family were so thankful and so amazed that I would do something like that for someone I had never even met before. But the smile and wonder on her face? That was exactly why I did it.
